Next time, do what I did. Stay down, fake an injury or exaggerate until the cops come-just lie there awhile and limp to the sidewalk. Witnesses will stick around if its in town. The driver will get ticketed for undue care and attention then get his insurance info and complain about bike/ clothing damage and any body injury. I got a quick $700 for a bent handlebar and I'm sure the idiot driver got a nice increase in premiums. Next time I know at least one driver who will look before proceeding!

ok, everyone just stfu. he did nothing wrong to the pedestrians, they were j-walking. he had the right to go since the light was still yellow. i would have made a more fluid line so that i wouldnt bother the pedestrians walk, but still not his fault.
and wow ... obviously if you slam the front breaks, you'll get tossed ... next time, keep your ass way back on the saddle.

To be honest you should of noticed why the other cars beside you are stationary. Pay attention to other users of the road which would help prevent anything like this. I'm not happy that you cut through two pedestrian crossings, scathing past peds.
