So basically your doing what Bonham haddone for years............ Check out Dazed and Confused in 1969 (Led Zeppelin - Lost Performances (2/5) ) from 5:00 mins on...
Nice lick! one thing to notice is when you loop the fill you aren't doing the same pattern as the demonstrated lick (you start with the first 2 sixteenths on snare, but when you repeat you don't) just thought I'd mention that. Good job though
@saladsfriend sorry you feel that way man. It's not hard but it sounds pretty good in a band setting. Feel free to upload a lick that you think isn't lame so maybe I can learn something. Thanks for watching.
Good job man, but seams like u change it a little when u speed up... instead of hitting the first RL on the snare, u move the first L to the rack tom... which still sounds good, but changes the time feel...
Awesome sound man :)

Its nice dude , looks cool too , but for the ultimate xover you should have checked the Dennis Chambers xover first ! Dennis kills it dead.

@MacMic333 Yeah man.....Dennis is a beast! I'm NO Dennis but he is one of my top influences for sure.

It's a good fill, but is it a "crossover lick to end all crossover licks"? Come on now.

I think it's pretty cool and seems utilitarian. All licks don't need to be super complicated. Thumbs up!

Great job Nic. You're a really good drummer and still have a down-to-earth teaching style. Keep up the good work and don't listen to the naysayers!
