  • top man

  • @detlingyes Dank :)

  • super.....

VERY good photography in a world where flashing, unwatchable clips are far more the norm.

    Thank you very much.

  • AWESOME! :D i wanna teach myself how to play boogie woogie :D i just love it! great job!

  • You should get your improvisations bundled up in a cd on mp3 group. I'm just an old guy that enjoys honky tonk....

  • nice blend of boogie woogie and old rock

Thanks for switching to boogie woogie

    Saw of your video

You have come along great and got a great tune

    Keep going

    Thanks from Canada

  • This is one of my more favorite boogies you have composed; smooth, quiet, and straight forward. I listen once a night, along with "Swingy" and "Big Joe Turner." Keep 'em comin'. Merry Christmas / Happy and prosperous new year to you. /Roy

  • love it!!!!!!

  • thanks :)

    Eeco

  • Another superb number Eeco. Fabulous.

I admire the fact that comments are open and people are able to pass their opinion freely. There are others on youtube (isisip for one as far as I can see, on her blues 'improvisation') who apparently vet all the remarks and only publish the positive ones - how sad is that. I take my hat off to you.

  • Absolutely marvelous.

  • am frühen Morgen bringt dieses Stück meine Glieder in Bewegung, thank you for saving...

  • The fact that it's improvisation makes it just that much more impressive. :-)

  • Is this your own composition? If so then your writing is as spectacular as your playing!

  • yes it is ..just an improvisation..=) thanks anyway !

  • This is one of the best boogies I have ever heard and the ending was the greatest :) Can you please explain what are you doing between 4:03 and 4:10? Thanks!

  • its kind of hard to explane again because it was just a one time improvisation..

  • Brillant.... as always!

  • thank you :)

  • A very fine Eceo' s boogie style!

  • Ah! The transition at 2:34 is the best! Great job Eeco. As I have said time and time again, you rock buddy!

  • oh thank you =) have a great & swinging weekend !!

  • Enjoyable bit of boogie!

  • thank you !

  • Dear Simon! Allow me to use your words: A little bit of boogie woogie is a great way to start a day or end it for that matter! Uli

Dear Ecco! You make my day!! Uli

  • Have a good & boogie weekend as well :D :D

  • (continuing my previous post)

, a turnover that I haven't seen you doing a lot (0:22), nice "intermezzo's" in between, and then that nice D instead of an G just before you change to that beautiful ragtime rhythm... some more cool bassline after that (nice stretch lol), and a very cool ending...

is this song your own? I had no doubt about your skills, only a little bit "worries" about your originallity. With this song you proved me wrong... Great job Eeco! Really...

  • It was a improvisation yes..just started and while playing I think and listen what I should play next. A good thing to know is that you should listen a lot to all kind of jazz, boogie woogie, blues songs. You can pick up things and you can train your ears by listening to the music. It seems that you understand something about chords right?? Do you play the piano I saw you with a guitar or not ??

  • Yeah I play both guitar and piano... but I'm a little better at guitar... in fact I have some video's too, maybe you've seen them. Maybe you remember me: Kurt Verstegen from Belgium. We "met" on the boogiewoogie forum of Terry Aspinall. I'm in your MSN list too lol :D. If this is impro, then really good job!

  • First of all, it's great that you comment on every comment, thats really great and shows you're a nice guy... which is important too.

Second, I was thinking that this would be another Eeco boogie, not really that refreshing. BUT... this boogie, though a non-boogie ear might not hear it, is quite refreshing: monday struggle bass line and some other basslines that are really nice...

  • Woh!!! That was pure poetry. You are at a skill level that I am afraid that I will never reach. I have a hard time with the basics (I can't my two hand to work together). Do you have any secrets for hand coordination?

  • thanks a lot =) ..well I learned it to have a good solid left hand and then just used chords in the right hand first to make it easy..after that I used more notes in the right hand and changing the rythm. If you practise a lot you can build up your fantasy and your skills..its all about practise and I know someone learns it faster then you but I think everyone should be able to find that rythm they are looking for..now...boogie on!! =)

  • Well Pal you know I can listen to you all day and this type of music! It's awesome. Hey, just a question - with the close up of the hands/fingers - it looks like you were in a fight or something? Jeez man - hope you didn't hurt your hands! ha. Maybe the lighting. Anyways, take it easy pal and good luck with the move too! Awesome jazz! Thanks for the posting. Mike.

  • Hey Mike =)..yes 2 weeks left before starting a life in a new area/place. Oh Im only struggling with my mom and the camera..what do you mean exactly? =) have a nice day..bye!

  • Moving is a lot of work! I'm doing that the beginning of February - yuck. Not far from where I am but far enough and it's a lot of work. I was just looking at the hands and it looks like from the lighting that you punched a gang of thugs out with your knuckles! ha. Sorry - no offense pal - I guess it's Mom's steady hand with the camera and light. Got to protect that hands man- those are worth millions now!!!!!! Take it easy pal and good luck packing!

  • thanks =) yes I have to insure my hands. When I was a kid I didnt play basketball, volleybal that much, at that time I was careful with my hands already. I cant imagine missing a finger :-S anyway Im working on my 2nd and hopefully we will record it in February..=)

  • Hey Eeco Good To Hear You Doing A New CD, And The Other Video You Did Was Interesting Piano Tuning That Was My What Would You Like To Do When You Grow Up Dream Job. No Such Luck Yet, I've Got A Good Ear, Also Nearly Forgot Yet Another Grate Boogie, Your Living My Dream And Doing It Better Then Me.

  • That's what's important in life I think..to follow your dream and if you do something , you do it 100% and not 98 %..Life can be hard but if you put yourself on first place and work for what you want, you can achieve many things..

  • hi eeco! still a pleasure to see you doin the boogie. we did not hear for a while, I hope everything is fine and your career is developing the way you want it to. so maybe we see us soon at one of your next concerts! bye, christoph

  • yes and recording the next cd in 2009 =) going to be a busy year. Im busy with moving out to a appartment, so hopefully I'll be in my new place before christmas =)

  • thanks =) I will next weekend..boogie woogie rocks :D

  • The ragtime-sequence is fun.

  • I listened to this with the volume up LOUD, the whole house was shaking, Absolutly loved it, I could just write a list of superlatives but I must leave some for your other fans, Great, ect, ect, ...........

  • Thanks for another great one! is this a Christmas present for all your fans? 162hits/16hrs, 10 per hour, not bad eh,my computer is alarmed for anything you do, probably like many others! really appreciate your contributions, dont stop!!

  • I wont stop..dont worry. I will bring joy to the world and also want to expand the boogie woogie. Not that everybody thinks that nobody can play it and its old crap music =)

  • Another great one, eeco. And my favorite cam angle.

  • yes its better for the viewers to see what Im doing so they also can pick up some things

  • Yeah, especialy combined with the breakdowns in some of your earlier instructional vids, it gets easier to pick up stuff from watching this view.

  • He grows tulips...he wears wooden shoes...but the "Muses" of Boogie Woogie have "touched" this man.

  • Im glad I dont wear wooden shoes..they are a killer =) boogie on !

  • Always great to see you punching out the cool licks you've compiled in your journey with boogie-rock-bluesy styles and feelings.

Carry on the boogie, Eeco! Well done...
