I wonder why it is situated in the ''district area''. There are a lot of amusements places around. Do the workers get paid or they work volunteerely just for the bed ? Can a custommer work there and live for ree ?

Hi Amsterdam ! This hostel is one of the best ! i was here for short periods of time between 1997 and 1999. I met lot of people from all over , and i was also staff !

This is the best hostel. Amsterdam has lot of them. But this youth hostel won the prize of To Go. Also I find it a cheap hostel with friendly staff.
