And this is undoubtedly the first in a long line of fun rides and attractions we can see from you! Keep squirreland going and make better and better rides until you've got something to rival six flags! xD okay maybe not that good, but still!
Why do I see so much bashing on this guy? All you wanna be coaster builders better learn how to weld steel, and quit building these obviously dangerous PVC pipe tracks (that UV light from the sun will dry out, making it brittle and prone to cracking under even normal stresses). I have yet to see a decent FULL CIRCUIT coaster (with a chain lift) from any basher here. Put up or shut up! And Squirreland, great work so far! If you ever want any advice or help with the lift part, let me know.
@MrrandomFriday 3/4 inch pvc is very cheap and strong enough for tracks as long as it's supported by something like plywood while suspended. Track on the ground would need no support, just ties (like rail road ties)
As an engineer and a coaster builder myself, I would like to make a suggestion. Going by the pics, the bend at the bottom of the hill is way too tight. While it may work, there will be extreme stresses on that part of the track, clearance problems with the car, and it will be a slight discomfort for riders to change direction that fast. A larger radius bend will make the ride much smoother and enjoyable.

This is gonna be a good one. Im making one myself can you give any tips on making sure it will always make a complete curcuit (cause I want it to be totally self powered)
ive been waiting for this, awsome as always, the only thing i see as a problem is the support for the top of the track seems small, may i suggest to make a frames that can be eaisly bolted to the track and then bloted to the floor or to a base plate.
I've ridden many roller coasters and have studied their track shaping, and have also designed many roller coasters in No Limits Coaster ( Check out my video of Copperhead...one of the last coasters I designed in No Limits).Anyways I just wanted to try and impart some of my coaster knowledge to help make your end product the best that it can be! Look forward to seeing this ride as it progresses.
And the way you have fabricated the track sections allow perfectly for another straight section to be added in the middle of the two sections you have to make this taller (since you said this would be the third drop and thus would have to be taller to function as a lift hill). However as a drop, the transitions are much too quick, and the long straight section would make for a rather un-intersting drop. Better shaping of a drop should look like a sideways S.
Awesome! I'm really excited to see progress on this coaster. The track Fabrication is done really well and looks very true to the full size counter parts we see at theme parks today. However I have to agree with KCForce. The track that you built currently are perfect for a station then lift hill.

It's not playing, it's making this obnoxious sound and skipping to the end so fast you don't see a bit of the video. :(

How do you make something like that and how much does that cost? I'd love to do something similar someday...
