This is an interesting piece, but it definitely would have been better if they were en pointe. Also, they have what my dance teacher calls "big mac hands" because it looks like you're holding a big mac in each hand. Tuck your thumbs in lol. Was that supposed to be a tour jete at 1:33 because the girl on the left definitely didn't do one.

It's more moden dance than ballet. There are moden dance movement which includes putting both hands on the floor while kicking the air 2:34. Their arm movements are also used in moden dance. There's also one at 2:07. The music also seems more like those used in moden dance. It's also rare to see point in moden dance.

@gnguyen411 the first movement you describe is called an illusion and it's actually used quite a lot in classical ballet. And while there are modern dance moves, it is still a balletic performance.

I <3 the idea, but many very skilled ballerinas don't want to be on pointe. I have been in ballet for 8-9 years and am still not on pointe. It just depends on if you want 2 or not, i suppose.
