  • oh my god why did you drop me you stupid bitch i cant breath why cant you do that move you stupid bitch i'll kill you

  • 6 people are... I can't put them into words.

  • Patrick Bateman brought me here

  • i have the car keys

  • Already liked this song, but when I saw it on American dad i thought it was well placed :)

  • American Dad and Shazam brought me here. like a boss.

  • Five people are Believers

  • you like phil collins invisible touch is the groups undisputited masterpiece AP

  • This was on the TV radio station my mom was listening to. I instantly fell in love :D

  • i discovered this song on american dad but it doesnt matter how you discover your favorite songs, all that matters is that you appreciate good music

  • Being the creator of this video brought me here....

    ;P

  • I love American Dad but still WHAT THE FUCK you shouldnt know this from American Dad you should know it from Genesis

  • @Darion1A Is it really any different from the radio bringing you here? Or seeing it on an 80s music video special and having that bring you here? As it is, I wasn't even alive when this came out, and the only thing that brought me here (besides hearing it in American Dad the other night) was that I was lucky enough that my parents listened to the oldies station when I was growing up. So what the hell is the problem with hearing it on a TV show when it just means Genesis just made one more fan?

  • @xAmazonxValkyriex What does you not being alive when it happened have to do with it? I'm only 16 and i dont listen to anything from the 21st century. My parents listened to this but not around me i came upon this kind of music myself but i digress. And besides no its not the same because people dont praise the song when they come here. They praise the show. When they hear it on the radio do you see anyone coming here saying "MAX 94 WBRZ brought me here."

  • @Darion1A My not being alive when it came out means that it wasn't on stations people my age would typically listen to: which would feature newer music. But if people are really just praising the show, then why would they seek out the song in the first place if they didn't like it when they heard it? I just don't get why people get pissed about stupid things like this when it's just a way of presenting older music to a newer audience.

  • @Darion1A If this were in a movie or a show and you had never heard it before and you LIKED it, wouldn't you seek it out? As it is, people are just either quoting from the scenes in which it was featured (which were funny) or saying that it was because of the show that they discovered this song. I Loved the fact that American Dad featured another awesome 80s song ("Africa" by Toto) but did I come here and bitch people out just because they discovered the song from seeing that episode? No.

  • It's funny, just over the past couple days I've become obsessed with Phil Collins, catching up on everything he's done, and then I watch the American Dad episode with THIS song playing. Sometimes the Law of Attraction really does make a presence for me, haha.

  • AMERICAN DAD!

  • "Francine, I haven't been entirely truthful with you."

  • "Why cant you do that move, you stupid bitch, I'll kill you"

  • When I heard this on American Dad, I want to listen to the whole song. I looked at every Phil Collins song and couldnt find it. It took me a while to think that it was a Genesis song

  • American Dad brought me back here. My dad used to play this in the car all the time when I was like 10.

  • @NicholasB1224 "I've got the car keys you stupid biiiiiiiiiittttttttt"

  • "American Dad" brought me here.

  • Roger was playing this in his car just now on American Dad

  • Phil Collins...the master!!!!

  • this is phil collins

  • @sesshomarukagom704 Thats prooobably because he was the LEAD...SINGER... for genesis

  • @BrettMiller33 haha that is so true, i woke up one morning and on the radio in the kitchen this was on and i was dancing all over the place in my boxers

  • Thumbs up if you think this is the best Phil Collins/Genesis song!

  • Fuck the 4 people that disliked this song!

  • Hey guys! Just wanted to thank y'all for watching and commenting on my video. Also wanted to give a shout out to Mr. Phil Collins who turned 61 today!

  • @ryeinc 61? I thought he was much younger.

  • @ryeinc 61?? r u sure not 16??:-)

  • Not all people of my generation are uneducated when it comes to music. I love this kind of music, and I'm a 13-year-old girl. Quit hating.

  • ahhhhhhhh real music unlike the crap we have today i miss real music!

  • how did genesis go from right ten minute songs like musical box and watcher of thet skies to writing this crap phil collins you ruined this band

  • @TheIllegalKind Phil Collins actually was the band's drummer before becoming the singer, so you can't say it's his fault.

  • @Lovemetallica93 i know but he wrote a lot of the later stuff

  • My #1 favorite Phil Collins song

  • This was the number 1 song on the day i was born. July 15th 1986!!! HAHAHA and i love this damn song! LOL EPICNESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

  • @ExplorersLeagueWoW You're probably right! Three people who lack taste in music.

  • @ryeinc probably Old Genesis loyalists

  • who the fuck disliked this...probably some rap and hip-hop fanboy

  • GOD DAMN! I finally found the one that is not raised a bazzillion keys up. This is the version I like. not the higher pitch.

  • American Psycho brought me here.

  • the golden age of music truly was in the 80's several gods and kings of every genre emerged, and they set the bar for each which now has sadly dropped below that bar in todays current main stream music.

  • @TykkiMikkProductions

Golden age was the 50's man. Though many of the greats from the 80's were born in the 50's or grew up in that era. Certainly helped.

  • @matt2004 to each their own eh?

  • thnx for this post! (studio version, clear sound, hell yeah) i had this on tape years ago, good song/album

  • OMG look at the pretty snow

  • damn i miss the genre that put out such good music... all todays shit is about smoking crack, joining a gang, or fucking monkeys, long live the 80s....

  • @4776yankee That's not 100% true. It's also about depression, suicide, masochism, sadism, incest, and other such fun, fun matters.

...You know what, I'm on your side now. 80s ftw.

  • @4776yankee .............todays music is sad

  • complete crap see what happened when phill came hte band deterierated into this crap

  • No dislikes? Let's keep it that way.

  • @ImmaGeneralBlue I agree! I'm happy to say that this is my second most viewed video :-) Thanks for watching!

  • @ImmaGeneralBlue 4 people are now dicks.

  • @mryjn420090

    Quite right.

  • wheres phil colins in genesis? before he broke away...

  • I have been searching for this song for this song for like over three years. And man was it worth the long find. :)

  • meh. Not exactly an epic meditation.

  • thank you phil and company for this pearl and many more by andrea!

  • I wonder if this was on the Hollow Man soundtrack?

  • simplement manifique (simply beautiful for the ears)

  • Alright!

  • It was on Duke where Phil Collins' presence became more apparent. I think Invisible Touch was the group's undisputed masterpiece. It's an epic meditation on intangibility. At the same time, it deepens and enriches the meaning of the preceding three albums. Christy, take off your robe. Listen to the brilliant ensemble playing of Banks, Collins and Rutherford. You can practically hear every nuance of every instrument. Sabrina, remove your dress.

  • @saleuski Not quite blonde, are we? More of a dirty blonde.

  • @saleuski "Don't just stare at it, eat it!"

  • @ryeinc Your a fucking ugly bitch!!! I want to stab you to death, and then play around with your blood!!!

  • @saleuski In terms of lyrical craftsmanship, the sheer songwriting, this album hits a new peak of professionalism. Phil Collins' solo career seems to be more commercial and therefore more satisfying, in a narrower way. Especially songs like In the Air Tonight and Against All Odds. But I also think Phil Collins works best within the confines of the group, than as a solo artist, and I stress the word artist.

  • @saleuski Interesting observation! Tell me, do you like Huey Lewis and the News? Their early work was a little too new wave for my tastes, but when Sports came out in '83, I think they really came into their own, commercially and artistically. The whole album has a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the songs a big boost. He's been compared to Elvis Costello, but I think Huey has a far much more bitter, cynical sense of humor!

  • An amazing Idol. Loved this guy since I was 3!! It'll be 11 years(as of tomorrow; my birthday!!) since i've first listened to them as a child.. Wow, time goes by so fast. :)

  • AWWW YEAHHHHHHH ITS CLEAR

  • This song is so awesome, it always brings me up when i'm feelin down

  • Genesis' only #1 song in the USA...I'm surprised that it's not as well known.

  • Its a good thing Peter Gabriel left the band.Phil Collins is a 100,000,000,000,000,000's better.

  • @deerdestroyer2009 I find Gabriels solo work to be fantastic, so I think its a win win for both Genesis and Gabriel fans that he left the band and Phil took his spot as lead singer.

  • phil collins look like patrick stweart @ 2:30

  • it took me about four different versions of this song to find the actual song. THANK YOU FOR POSTING IT!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!

  • This song was in my head today and I mentioned it to my husband who didn't know what I was talking about. Therefore, the search for the song online began. I played the whole thing for him and he had never heard it before!! *gasp* I grew up with this album playing in my house; my dad owned all of their albums.

  • TAKEN FOREVER FOR ME TO STUMBLE UPON THIS DUE TO ANOTHER YOUTUBER. THANK YOU!

  • great song
