I don't buy the excuse that the earth moved off of it's axis durring 1 quake, i would however buy the story of something much larger that can move the earth from it's axis, if it were EQ's that did this, we would be spinning off somewhere in space!, no it has to be something that can move planets, like, a dwarf star or a neutron star, or other larger that earth planet!

For the strange sound in the cities. In 1990-91 I had a Korg M1. And I had fun making the night some strange sound with it to scare people ! And it worked.

So in the cities like that the sounds goes very far because of echo/reverberation... for me its a Hoax ...and it is !
