Good guide but you should take a dragon dagger p++ with you for special attack and the poison is also helpfull.

-dragon long or dpd or d scim

-anti d shield

- prayer pots str pots and shark(875gp and hatchet)

-ring of wealth

-any cape

-glory

and i get pretty awsome drops im working for that visage lol

Tip for anyone: If it is not your slayer task, don't wear black mask but also do not wear initiate helm. If you can, wear the Helm of Neitiznot you get after completing the Fremmenk Isles quest. It has the same prayer bonus as the initiate helm, but increases your max hit by 1! Lol >_>

yes, ive found mage is the best way for steel dragons... you take your best mage armor, anti shield, an axe, and a way to tele out. take one or two sharks just incase, then the rest of your invo anti fire pots. you can stay for a while.

It is true it works but you got to spend money for that and it is better than melee or not, depending on your melee stats and if steel drags are your slayer task or not.

Also depends on what spell you use.

everyone uses fire bolt with the chaos gauntlets so you hit like 16's or something.

Yes, it is good that but still depends on your stats...

For example, a guy with fire bolts and chaos guantlets maybe hit 16 often but a guy with 99 str and 99 att hit 39-40 with the whip also often if it is his slayer task.

Yes, that's another posibility. Mage and range are also good, but them are better or not depending on your stats.

I used melee beacause my melee combat stats are high enough and steel dragons were my slayer task.

Mage make you spend money in runes too... and range in bolts. It is really hard to kill the iron or steel dragons without using prayer, so i prefer melee.

That's why i used it.
