  • if that real time i think u might need a lil air in them, just a suggestion

  • Pump your f**kin tires before drive :P!

  • this is what happens to your tyre when an earthquake hits.

  • do a burnout!!!!!!

  • se pinchoooooooooooooo!!!

  • Whoa, we have badasses here

POWERSLIDE POWERSLIDE POWERSLIDE POWERSLIDE POWERSLIDE POWERSLIDE POWERSLIDE POWERSLIDE POWERSLIDE POWERSLIDE POWERSLIDE POWERSLIDE POWERSLIDE POWERSLIDE POWERSLIDE POWERSLIDE POWERSLIDE POWERSLIDE POWERSLIDE POWERSLIDE POWERSLIDE POWERSLIDE POWERSLIDE POWERSLIDE POWERSLIDE POWERSLIDE POWERSLIDE POWERSLIDE POWERSLIDE POWERSLIDE POWERSLIDE POWERSLIDE POWERSLIDE POWERSLIDE POWERSLIDE POWERSLIDE POWERSLIDE POWERSLIDE POWERSLIDE POWERSLIDE POWERSLIDE

  • I think you have a flat tire...

  • also most realistic tire ive seen thus far, including in "AAA" game titles, keep up the good work

  • is this possible with bullet physics? also custom made, ny you? if so can you make a tutorial on how to make custom physics scripts or at least provide the unity download. please and thank you

  • Great job man

  • mm time to wank.. NICE

  • Tyre?

  • @thankennedy English spelling, Tire is used in the UK for its original use of describing the metal band around a wooden cart wheel, when the pneumatic rubber tire was invented a new word was used to discern between the two, hence Tyre, it didn't catch on across the pond.

  • @Gawaine1066 Im American, Iv always spelled it tyre. Never had anyone say anything to me about it.

  • @Gawaine1066 because across that pond no one will use a different spelling just because the wheel now has a inner-tube under that metal band and rubber on top.... when essentially it is the same as the old, and considering nobody but a bunch of Amish would still use. aka there is no real "two". should a wheel not be called a wheel just cause it uses metal now instead of wood?(and before that possibly stone? lol). just stating a social fact behind reasoning.

  • @gainpro retard....

  • @MrSquidbean cool story bro.

why don't you just spell it re'tard... ahaha you fucking ass, is that all your going to say to me? let me guess, the four periods are so youtube can let you post your shit short comment.. you know why youtube did that? cause if there going to waste memory space on your dumbass comments, they want you to at least put some thought into it and make it worth reading, so it doesn't become a total waste. but then your english so it's ok to be a retard.... XD

    BITCH OWNED!

  • @thankennedy its spelled like that in some places you racist

  • @crazybiker420 How is he being racist?

He was simply asking why it was being called a Tyre.

  • @thankennedy Are you seriously that sheltered and stupid that you don't know the British English spelling of "tire"?

  • @1ElectroDan Calm down.

I hope you don't freak out over little things like that in real life.

  • lancia stratos rims xd

  • Tire deformation 1 was better..

  • i learned something but im not sure what!

  • flat tyer

  • rFactor 3 !

  • Now you can calculate the contact area and use it to drive grip calculations / rolling and static friction.

What company do you work for?

  • @Nothgrin

You could also add the centrifugal force that is acted on the tire as it spins faster.

But that would be too much realism for a game.

What GPU are you using and how much GPU time is eaten up by this demo?

  • what is the program used

  • @TheSpeedy712 It is a custom plugin and shader system that is running in 3ds max but is designed to work in our own game engine and in the Unity 3D engine.

  • for cryin out loud somebody throw a pump

  • How exactly is this relevant for a driving game? The video was made in 3ds max.

  • @Marabunta2048 Because if you notice it is captured from the realtime editor mode using the custom modifier and shaders.

  • Where's the deformation?

  • How did i get here from minecraft?

  • i used to make these videos, but then i took an arrow to the knee

  • O my god. I do not care what anyone says, if we had someone like u helpin to make games like forza! If the tyre did this on the tire and rim selection menu so it shows what the tyren will do at certain psi's. Thatd be sick. Genius

  • @clayJ101 thing is, it would take too much time to create all the different tire compounds to make it ultra realistic it would have to change depending on the wear. Also its ok for this kind of video but to have 16+ cars all having this effect carried out at once, would require a lot of processing power. When you don't really notice it in game, its kind of a novelty at the moment. But still its good to see people working on things for the future good video.

  • i think tha car is missing xD^^

  • I love when i step into a world of peoples random unity creations, great job man!

  • kinda creepy

  • man! that's a flat

  • When it is rotating the deformation got to be smaller

  • Hey, you know that software has been created this simulation? Thank you.

  • i think it would be better if the camera dont move up down

  • Tell rockstar they should add it to gta 5!

  • @TheDJAMI they already add it onto GTA IV but when its explode only.. if you want to see it play mafia 2 and shift 2 because they already add it

  • @Billiez0401 yeah. but they should make it...you know...perfect?

  • @TheDJAMI alright

  • very nice...must have been tons of modeling for that! Is there force feedback integration with this tire model?

  • That's awesome!

  • which games are you guys working on?

  • That was fucking awesome, to see that on a car in a game would be amazing...

  • NEEDS MORE AIR!

  • wanna see this in a game ? Get your kredit card and go and buy Live For Speed and a good Racing wheel and start to race it!

  • give me that fuckin something what doing it!

  • if a race car had this wheel

THE DRIVER WOULD KISS HIS ASS GOODBAI AS HE CRASHES

  • This is in mafia 2

  • which racing game?

  • i think you have a flat tire.

  • good year akron!!!! i remember always seeing good year head buildings

  • Just put some air in that tire.

  • Amazing !!!!

  • It's cool although it needs to be more subtle. It's as if the tire is almost flat. But I guess that shows off the effect better.

  • @BudzMcgr33n It is exactly that, it is deflated to show the effect of to its fullest.

  • @BudzMcgr33n well if you have ever seen the rear tires on a dirt car in action that is about how they look

  • reminds me of live for speed

  • Oh wow, racing legends LIVES!

  • I never waited it in youtube before, nice place to wait it.

  • GREAT!! how did you do this?? (a script with a per-vertex calculation?) Does this work well for more subtle tire deformation?

  • i wait it!

  • Looks superb.

    Simon

  • sweet, but pump it up! ;)

  • it wait i

  • funky! that racing tyre looks legendary! :)

  • This looks great. You could make a game just drivin that single tire around. (^_^)
