  • I was wondering if i could soak a bunch of different nuts all at once in one bowl? and also, I am a raw vegan, so would putting it in the oven at verry low temperature be bad ?

  • @TheYasmine12 Yes, you could mix and match your nuts and seeds BUT be aware that seeds generally need only 12 hours whereas nuts take more like 24 hours. So I would only mix seeds or nuts. If you're a raw foodie, the oven will "cook" them as I've never met an oven that you can set under 110 degrees.

  • thanks for the info but you come across like a commercial. you lack personality. this is youtube. not a commercial on martha stewart tv.

  • Thanks for the demo! If you don't want salty nuts, do you rinse the nuts after soaking them for 24 hours, or is it important that they remain salty during the drying process?

  • ur so beautiful i didnt hear anything u said

  • Wouldn't they taste like salt? I've heard lemon juice works just as good as salt! But would I taste the lemon/salt after the drying process?

  • @dillpickleboocutie Not really. The salt taste is minimal. You could do lemon too. If you don't want any extra flavor, you can rinse them.

  • @MamaNaturalBlog Alright thank you!

  • started soaking my nuts today, we shall see how they taste

  • @Bandticker Oh, let me know how they turnout!

  • Great video! May I ask, what else do you use your dehydrator for? I have been thinking about drying my own fruit, and also making 'veggie chips' from leftover juicing mulch - do you think this would work?

  • @SFhelen I've made raw granola with soaked oats, raw honey and nuts. I've made raw yogurt. I haven't made kale chips yet but I heard they are great. Same on fruit. I like raw fruit best. Not sure if the juicing mulch would work since it's so FIBER. I'd put into bread or veggie or meat loaves instead.

  • @MamaNaturalBlog Thanks so much for your advice - the raw honey and nuts sound delicious. Kale chips are the best, a great healthy alternative to potato chips.

  • thx youre awesome

  • Check on my nuts...even your husband thought it was funny. LOL! I ADORE your videos!

  • That's what the Aztecs did! I've never done it before but it's worth a shot. Otherwise the lowest settting on your oven would work. Cheers!

  • What if I don't have a dehydrator? Can I set them out in the sun?
