You pay vehicle excise duty based on the damage your vehicle does to the roads and environment. You have a licence to drive on the road, pedestrians and cyclists have a right to be there. Where are you on that pecking order?
"Every cyclist " ? In Britain, the answer is yes. It happened to me all the time too. However... over here ? No. It simply doesn't happen. I've not had it happen once in two years since we emigrated.
It very unusual for a Lothian Bus IME; did you send LB the clip ? it looks like the driver needs a bit of retraining.

It's a BUS LANE which cyclists are allowed to use, not the other way round.

I've read the same of France and Spain.. even Italy in places. I suppose its our Island mentality?
Makes you wonder how much extra they pay for their fuel here in the UK, LOL
