I recommend travellers who have visited Yunnan to try a trip to board a train from Xining to Lasa using 4persons to a cabin for comfort. About 25 hours journey. Just been there from 18-28 June 2010 for trip to Xian, Xining, Lasa and Kunming. Take your Vit C tablets along as the rarity of orange juice during the trip for prevention of running nose.
