You get an A+ for showing this river as it is. The smart visitor arrives early (the Park opens @ 8am) and either kayak's or tubes without the thousands that will show up in just a couple hours. The water is crystal clear! God's gift to North Central Florida.

Those clear waters are nice, one place in Florida I would definitley want to visit.

Dude the Nile in Egypt, the Ob, Lena and Yenisei all in Russia run north. Many other rivers ending in the Arctic in Russia also run north, so the St. Johns is not the only river in the world to run north.

Great video thank you for sharing. I am coming down that way in Sept to dive the USS Oriskany in Pensacola. Of course that depends on everything holding together. I would love to float that stream it reminds me of a lot around here, We have many springs and are known as the cave state.Maybe I will be coming through your area and we could meet up

Outstanding, Gary. Thank you for sharing this. I'm an avid kayaker, both whitewater, surf and touring. I have a good friend from Panama City who used to tell me about kayaking on the Itche. As well, I've heard that the bass fishing is phenomenal there. Very cool. Thanks, again for the relaxing tour.
