You get an A+ for showing this river as it is. The smart visitor arrives early (the Park opens @ 8am) and either kayak's or tubes without the thousands that will show up in just a couple hours. The water is crystal clear! God's gift to North Central Florida.
Thanks for the ride. You're making me want to get my yak out on our local rivers in New York and PA. The wild life is amazing on the rivers. Thanks. It was beautiful.
Beautiful Gary ....glad you took a day off and away ....everybody needs to take a minute for them selves and with family and get away from it all ....while we still have time and while nature is still there to enjoy.....
Dude the Nile in Egypt, the Ob, Lena and Yenisei all in Russia run north. Many other rivers ending in the Arctic in Russia also run north, so the St. Johns is not the only river in the world to run north.
What?........... you are so right! I thank you I was told that it was the only one but you are correct. thank for setting me straight and educating me. Gary
Great video thank you for sharing. I am coming down that way in Sept to dive the USS Oriskany in Pensacola. Of course that depends on everything holding together. I would love to float that stream it reminds me of a lot around here, We have many springs and are known as the cave state.Maybe I will be coming through your area and we could meet up
absolutey....... and I know your state has cave because the customer of goes to your state twice a year to teach. when september come round lets meet up.
You sure do alot of fun things all the time. I would love to see the places you go to. I live in the west in the desert.lol I could take a video of the strip in Las Vegas.lol Just kidding. There are interesting places here.
Outstanding, Gary. Thank you for sharing this. I'm an avid kayaker, both whitewater, surf and touring. I have a good friend from Panama City who used to tell me about kayaking on the Itche. As well, I've heard that the bass fishing is phenomenal there. Very cool. Thanks, again for the relaxing tour.
BTW... Has anyone ever told you that your voice sounds much like Bob Ross? Very soothing... "And here's a happy little cloud"...
very relaxing as long as you dont fall out .

Hey Gary , hope you are feeling better .. The St. Johns river, in Maine flows north as well.
Those clear waters are nice, one place in Florida I would definitley want to visit.

I love that place. Went there as a kid when I lived in Florida. Way different than the swamp mush here in Louisiana.

Nice river, tons of wildlife. I used to go tubing as a teen in Canada with my girlfriend. I guess we'll be doing that again. Awesome video.
