I love this song, and both bands. I believe in God and Jesus and The Holy Spirit. I also think that if you sit around looking for "solid" evidence, an anvil will land on your head before you do. Why would God create a creature who has the competence to disobey his will? He created creatures who are capable of damning themselves to an eternity of hell and torture? That sounds kind of cruel. It's not very fair to condemn someone's soul for trillions of years based on roughly a hundred years at MOST of life on this Earth. Especially if they never had the opportunity to even know of God's existence.

"Sins" are manmade. Just like good and evil. Good and evil does not innately exist in nature. We decide what is good and evil. Most sins happen to be actions we deem as "evil". Any "evil" actions I pay for are because that's the way society has devised things, not simply because they are "sins".

And who is this Jesus guy? He's the only one who can make us new? He was just another human being like anyone lol and apparently he's been dead for around 2000 years, from what I've heard...

In my opinion, God surely does exist. But not in the form that we as humans imagine him as. In fact, thinking of him as one entity is stupid and limiting, and rather closeminded. I believe that God is in fact just a symbol of faith. As you said before, good and evil are manmade and so is God. We created God, not the other way around. He exists because we believe and would not other wise.

I could explain to u what I think is their feelings on it by showing u some parallels.

Dating is of the world - not of God. The Lord called them (and everyone else if they'll only listen) to a life of purity: meaning they don't give themselves away until their wedding night; and they don't flaunt off their body.

If u really want, I can type up a snippet from a good book called "Before You Meet Prince Charming" by Sarah Mally (a suggested read for every teen girl) that would explain this better
