  • Hilarious, I enjoyed watching this ! I'm glad you mentioned about hairlines, because a lot of women will wear extensions when they have excessive hair loss ! Although honestly they should just wear a wig !

  • There is nothing wrong with wearing a weave. Just take care of your real hair. That is just as important as the weave. Trust me. Weave can be pretty but your natural hair comes first.

  • ( Continued ) I wish we could see more Black women with naturally long hair so we can stop giving people the impression that we cant obtain it naturally . As much as I take care of my hair and the patience and time that it took me to obtain this length I want the damn credit for it ,I don't want all my hard work to just be chalked up to a fucking weave .

  • ( Continued ) I think one of the reasons people of all races don't believe that Black women can have real naturally long hair is because all the Black women that go out and get a long weave, so people just assume that because most Black women get a weave that any Black person they see with long hair must have a weave in because they cant grow it to that length naturally cause if they could have it naturally they would just let it grow out and not go get a weave .

  • As if, because I'm Half Black that was suppose to automatically cancel me out for having long hair or something and I get this shit from everyone White, Black, Hispanic, even Asians it's freaking annoying as FUCK , I even had a Black girl tell me that I should cut my hair up to shoulder length to make it seem more believable . WTFF are you serious .

  • ( Continued ) When they say this to me I'm thinking like.... Oh so when you thought I was Hispanic it seemed logical to make the assumption that it was my real hair but now I tell you I'm Not Hispanic and I'm Half Black and Half white now it doesn't seem logical anymore that it's my real hair and you assume it's a weave how fucking racist is that !!!

  • ( Continued ) It's funny though, when people first see me they think I'm either Mexican or Puerto Rican then when I tell them " No I'm not Hispanic, I'm Half Black and Half White " their response is " Oh I was thinking that was your real hair at first " and I'm like .... " It is my real hair " and their like " No it's not that's a weave " like seriously WTF.

  • Damn I know I'm going to go through hell once my hair reaches waist length it's like only 3 inches away and as it is now people don't believe it's mine once I tell them I'm half Black.

  • @BiracialGirl1977 To be honest. It really does not matter if people think your hair is fake or not. I feel like a lot of times people make a big deal out of hair. I personally don't see nothing wrong with wearing weave. Just take care and grow your real hair if you can. Drink water and eat healthy and keep your hair moisturized. You have girls who wear weave and act as if the hair is theirs. Ridiculous! Wear weave but take care of your real hair. That's what messes a lot of girls up hair wise.

  • Wearing wigs is not cool. It false advertisement. Fake hair turn me off like a light switch!!!!

  • Thanks for the video and effort it takes to make them

  • People should be able to wear what the fuck they want. Natural, Relaxed, Real ,Fake, who cares. If you like extension which almost every race of woman does, wear them, if not don't. And this just proves again that women of every race wear weaves.

  • Have you ever used Seamless Hair Extensions before like from Simply Extensions. The application only takes 30 minutes and removal is just 15 min. What is your opinion, thanks.

  • FAKE ASS BLACK WOMEN. STOP TRYING TO ACT WHITE GIRL, YOU ARE AS BLACK AS THE REST OF US BLACK PEOPLE. YOU WEAR EXTENSIONS BECAUSE YOU WANNA BE WHITE. IM HAPPY THAT YOU GOT THE APPROVAL FROM CAUCASION WOMEN THAT IT'S OK TO LOOK AND ACT LIKE THEM. DAMN SHAME. WHERE'S MY REAL AFRICAN/AMERICAN WOMAN..WHERE ARE THEY AT?

  • @yayo201 That comment was grammatically atrocious. How, exactly, do you "act white"? If by "acting black" you mean "ghetto," and you're trying to say that acting ghetto is being "real," then you have some serious misconceptions. There is nothing more fake than amalgamating to stereotypes and throwing yourself on a bandwagon of conformity by restricting the way you act to these "race guidelines" idiotic individuals and groups have splayed out.

  • THIS BLACK GIRL IS TUUELY STUPID

  • This is why I am a natural. NOTHING FAKE ABOUT MY HAIR!! This video is as fake as weaves. PATHETIC!!

  • @1juanitaanderson If you are so natural, then why click on a video entitled "Fake hair". Just so u can be critical of extension wearers? Sounds like you are the one that is PATHETIC!! And I will add to that SAD!

  • @1juanitaanderson All I have to say is that my shit is REAL. You dont like it....tough shit. In fact I thought the video was going to be about women wearing weaves should stop wearing them. I support women who dont wear weaves. Im not the sad one. The pathetic people are the ones who is trying to change what they are.....Im not one of them and PROUD!

  • @1juanitaanderson SPEAK GIRL.ME TOO IM PROUD OF WHA I HAVE AND WILL NOT BE GOING BACK TO THE RELAXER OR WEAVES EVER AGAIN!!!!!!!I LOVE MY NATURAL HAIR.YOU ARE ON POINT

  • White girls been wearing weave they just call it extentions. I never get colored hair like red or pink cuz i dnt think it comes in human so I Jus stick to black n brown. I dnt have an excuse to wear weave I just dnt like maintaing my hair. Every day. My hair is extreamly thick an shoulder length. But as long as it looks good. Who's complainig

  • are you kidding me?

    6:38

"you should not have nappy hair up to here and then its nice and european straight up here!"

i really cannot believe that you said that

wow so you call the european hair nice and european and then your own hair you talk about negatively! wwow im dumb founded. smdh

  • @mimi42428 You know i would have to agree with you. I picked up on that to. Well you can tell from the weave she has that she does not like coily hair. Oh well. Personally i do not like the word nappy, and I do not use it referring to afro hair. Its coily or curly.

  • @missVeemack i agree.i cannot believe that she had the guts to say that.wear weaves all you want but are you seriously going to negatively talk about something that is in your genetics and that is a part of you like that?we really need to wake up asap.wear weaves all you want but love what you have that is yours.our hair is beautyfull.i dont see other ethnicities wearing afro weaves and wigs.only women of african decent do that.im so over it.this girl here pissed me off.

  • @mimi42428 she was not talking negatively about nappy hair... she was just stating that if you are going to get a straight weave then your roots should match, it will not match if the roots are nappy and the ends straight.

  • White women wear WEAVE NOW????????

  • @LaDiva16Productionz YOUR DUMB

  • i love lace wigs

  • Wow, her clip-ins look great!

  • i used to think wigs were just wrong, but now I love wigs because they are great protective styles.

  • i love my hair all thing i can do to it braids micro tracks curl my real hair afro staight kink twist flat iron it dreads and my people some have short hair and some long and i am a nappy head dont care

  • you speak the truth. They won't admit it, but its true. Its just like Asian women who try to open their eyes to look more European. It must suck t be black. If I was those ethnicities I would be proud to be that. I don't see why there not.

  • ITS WHATEVER.....

  • Im looking at the stupid comments below. (shaking my head). WW do wear weaves just as much as BW. If you go to the mall they sell weaves for WW and other ethnicitys. Paris Hilton got her own hair line, and we all know she has hardly no hair. Weaves is not a black thing and never started with BW. I love weave mainly wigs. You can choose all different type of style. Sometimes I just do the natural look (my own hair). I had my hair in so many styles it not even funny.

  • No, white women DON'T wear weaves as much as black women do. Yes, I do agree with you, they wear it as well. But you know for a fact we wear weave more than anyone. Like Chris Rock said on the Tyra show, white women are where we were 15 years ago with the weave - getting clip-on extentions, like 1 track or something for thickness, maybe a fake bang...

  • How much did it cost to get it sown in? I have clip ins -.-

  • aaant wrong sucks 2 b u , negative ass person but hey thats life sum r happy sum r not AGAIN GOD BLESS

  • lol you know whateva IM STILL GOINGTO WEAR HAIR WEAVES N MY BLCK MAN HE LOVES IT

  • When i c comment like yours it makes me sad , and really shows how racism stills exsitis , futhermore, you check on this topic periodically just to down grade black women, it really shows how much of a negative person you are... god bless

  • i wonder if you're even attractive at all....i should think not because this is called GIRL TALK so why the hell is a ugly spoken guys leaving comment..try my space

  • tiffi agree wigs move around 2 damn much

  • shut up and get a damn life....poorly spoken drop shot

  • But thanks for your thoughts, i have no intentions of trying to "change your mind" or sway you. Great topic.

  • He might not like the feeling, but that actually is not my concern or issue. If he doesn't like them, he is more than welcome to be with a woman who doesn't have fake hair. I don't hold men hostage, I don't try to "force" my weave on them & won't take it personal. As i said its all about preference. Some men care, some could care less about it. Its not a big deal or hangup. If a man can't deal with something so minor, he has every right to leave. I won't hold it against him.

  • And i can tell you that some women may very well have personal issues, but most do not. However, i can only speak for myself. I like to curl my hair, wear it natural, change the color and do everything under the sun. One day I want it jet black, another day brown. Doing all these things to my natural hair, as often as i like to change, would surely leave me bald. Thats all. For me, its that simple. Any man can take it or leave it.

  • "they wear extension not weaves" !

    do u hear urself ??

'hair extensions' are 'hair weaves' dumbass

&what do u call the white girls that get dreadlock extensions

are they trying to be black?!

seriously u have nooo idea what u are talking about

    please stop

  • Great topic! I love wearing weaves, extensions, or whatever people want to call them. I don't need to make "excuses" about wearing them either. I wear extensions/weaves because I'm grown and do as i please with my hair. Some guys don't like them and thats ok too. Its all about preference. But if a guy doesn't like weaves then he need NOT look my way! LOL. I also don't need for guys to give some psychoanalysis of why I wear them..... Thanks!!!

  • sorry winston to get you so angry over this topic issues i guess, but maby in the ghetto where you live weaves wigs are designed for black women but in salons all over manhattan, soho, midtown, ect, there are weaves request like crazy. paris hilton got her own line of weaves and extensions o>K. many white women wear weaves accept its not as obvious because their hair matches the texture of the weave. where as black women hair has to be handled to match the weave - get out of the ghetto - HATER

  • wtf

    stupid questions

  • well i dont know about that many black girls have weaves not about their texture - but about versatile stile, color ect. weaves are even made in kinky texture not just european. I personally have long hair but very thin due to bariatric surgery i had(protein loss - also can cause lost hair) sometimes i get extensions for a full look if iam going to a wedding or something. Also plenty of white girls got weaves now plenty. Some white women have thin hair and want a full look so they get a weave

  • i wanna get my hair done with you guys!!!

  • Comment removed

  • i suggest before u buy that human hair..to go watch the vid "Hair sacrificed to idols" !! I will stick to FAKE hair!

  • Hey Tiff!

Your hair is hot! I could have sworn that was your real hair girl! And I'm from the south so love big hair too! I also think there is nothing wrong with wearing extensions just as long as they don't look a hot mess..lol I've seen some of the worst! Men shouldn't be soooo picky, like duh they already know alot of women wear them these days.

    love your vids!

  • "leaders of the wigs" LMAO

  • lol

  • haha I dont think anything is wrong with wearing hair extensions! The versatality of hairstyles are limitless with them! Women like to change things up; Look a certain way when they feel like it lol I wear "my" real hair sometimes and I also wear fine synthetic at times too. But! I do think that if someone does choose to wear synthetic or human extensions, she should also be sure to take care of her real hair in the process and not totally neglect it lol

  • i have extenssions it looks great, but i want my hair to be flowy the only way i get that is if i dont put any hair moisturizer on....then my scalp starts to itch..any suggestions????

  • part your scalp and moisturize, dont put it on the body of the weave

  • You are right Opp....Thats the way to do it.

  • Try using a spray moisturizer and only spraying the roots of your hair. A really good one is Motions Nourishing Leave in Conditioner in the Yellow Bottle. People have said to me why I don't use oil sheen and moisturizer on my hair extensions and my #1 answer is cuz I don't want it to look fake like theirs..lol...I like flowy and not weighed down. Also a good dominican salon for wash and set every couple weeks keeps it looking natural..:)

  • Yes doll....Thats the way we do it on GirlTalkNYC...The real...nothing left to the imagination..lol

    Tiff

  • Hey Girl,

Your hair looks good. You know I waited 3months for a lace front wig that looked nothing like the picture on the site. Did you wear lace front wigs daily, how did you find them?

  • I'm getting used to wearing a fake ponytail because that way I don't have to style everyday and stress my ends out. It's actually good for hair and gives it a break.

  • It does really help the hair grow as well. It's good to give your hair a break every now and then. Glad you got something out of that episode...

    Tiff

  • oh girl!!!
