  • Wall-e is becoming closer to a reality

  • What happens when it runs out of batteries >:3

  • and people wonder why america's adv weight in 175 lb.

  • @jesse083195 it's obvious it's all this japanese-based company that's causing it, huh?

  • What ever happened to "walking"?

  • @psykick77 people got diseases and disorders that disable them from walking? are you retarded...

  • Even big fat guys can use it!!

  • @psykick77

Only* big fat guys will* use it.

  • Honda Are so gonna be the first ones to make a real life skynet robot.....

good job honda you've doomed us all

  • Bisimoto would make one with 200 Hp.

  • graceful fat old geeks

  • @joshsimrak Dude theres a fold out seat on the top -_-

  • i want v-tec in this shit!

  • honda has wizards!?!?!?!!

  • Despite it being an amazing technology, the position in which you have to sit to ride it looks really uncomfortable, does it not?

  • @elchafa Exactly what I was thinking! They must have had a slouch that they modeled it around. I'm sure the Japanese were thinking...shit, we forgot to build it for American-sized slugs.

  • @MsOpYop "Oh I am handicapped and I am so offended" ...pff... get over yourself, you angry person.

  • Your BUTT is going to HURT LIKE HELL.

  • So that movie Wall-E is really a documentary of the future???

Gonna be fat azzez everywhere ridin' in chairs! LOL!!!

  • @LuvMyTJ lulz

  • Yet another video showing corporate type people playing with another toy. How will this help people? Who is this invention targeted to? Can this device help a quadriplegic move around? My arms and legs work fine, I will use those to get around. What about those that cannot?

  • @slambert71

Pffft, those 'plegics have all sorts of fun riding toys. When is a perfectly able bodied American going to get a fun and sexy toys to zoom about on? Huh?

  • @MsOpYop If you are handicapped that is obviously a different story. I was merely making a joke that your average lazy fat fuck will buy one just because.....

  • @C172Pilotdude Thanks for the clarification. I worry though, that if your "ALFF" doesn't buy one, there won't be enough of us gimps to create a market for them. So I say, "Go 'ALFF's!"

  • it looks like they are very uncomfortable riding the thing!

  • WANT!

  • this thing make human more lazy.......just walk guys.....it's more healthy....

  • It's like those floating seats in Wall-E except these don't float. THAT IS THE ONLY DIFFERENCE. We have plenty of lazy fucks to put on these things.

  • Great. Another expensive thing for the American people to piss away money and at the same time also use it to become even more FAT and sedentary.

  • amazing balance

  • Future of wheelchairs?

  • we do not need anymore overweight people, some people are trying to loose weight not gain

  • Ten bucks says they were only familiar with the phrase, "fist bump" because of Michelle Obama...

  • whats the point if i can walk faster

  • Whats wrong with walking?! This would never sell.

  • just another reason we will get fat

  • This scares me, It really does

  • They stole my sliding office chair trick and used it as their idea

  • did you try walking?

  • remember wall-e ;)

  • What if i cut off my legs? can I be allowed to have one then?

  • this is why people are getting fat. (including myself) lol i want one.

  • i was like LOL WTF !

  • @frithwks this is for low mobility users, such as elderly or diseases like MS. When there comes a time when you cant walk yourself (and there will) you will applaud hondas R&D team.

  • Next time you hurt your perfectly working legs and want to get around wouldn't it be nice to have one of these? Light weight and almost silent with a slim profile that has you upright so your not startling others. Move over crutches and wheelchairs you just got owned.

  • damn, im surprised that fat guy was able to ride that thing.im sold!

  • Reminds me of the people on the "cruise ship" on Wall-E

  • Your Ass Controls All.

  • "...developing mobility that each and every one of us can use in the future..." when we have become so lazy that our legs no longer work. If you don't have use of your legs, how do you get on and off the thing? Why would I want this again? But I'm sure it was a testbed for battery and servomotor technology and something quite different may come of it.

  • @Beemerboy324 Ahem, don't you think this would be a good way to replace a wheelchair, maybe?

  • cara tu trova demais, tempo vale ouro.

  • mega cool

  • This is amazing and it would be even more interesting to know if you would be willing to let someone such as myself test one. I have MS and at best I get to stumble thru days with this knid of device even going shopping would be easier. A trip thru a large store can and is exhausting to those of us with MS and not all places have mobility carts.

  • @SilverMatchCo It is to bad that this is all you can see out of this. I have MS and maybe you should try strapping 10 lbs. bags of sand to you legs trying to carry out a normal life. This would allow me to shop for myself as well as not need a wheelchair with power or someone to push it. Short of working for ourselves no employment for those with MS because insurance won't let others hire us. I hope you don't keep such a narrow view when it comes to improvement of life.

  • @Cliffy28267 i would like to apologize for what i said. someone in your condition would extremely benefit from this device or anyone with a mobility impairment. I am truly sorry for what i said. one more thing if and when these come into production i hope you are able to get one.

  • @SilverMatchCo I have to thank you for such a nice reply and would only wish that more people didn't view such wonderful things as bad. I use to drive those big trucks everyone likes to cuse because they are in the way. I loved to drive and still enjoy driving my car. My life is a real challenge today verses what it use to be, but I am still able to try and do things. The Government is the biggest reason I am not working today, not my choice thank you again, and speak out it is your right

  • @Cliffy28267 Its really cool but don't get your hopes up......It only been shown to work on on perfectly flat surfaces, that means that it could be used in most homes, sidewalks, even small bumps like in tile floors, or the seem between laminated floors, or any thing with slight incline/decline would have the rider falling down with the Mobility Device.

But with more work....Maybe it my be it could help you. Lets hope, I still want one :)

  • How does it stay upright? does movement of the wheel automatically move to counteract falling?

  • It's going to need a wider seat for the obesity victims it creates!

  • Anyone want to learn Japanesse?

  • Looks like the greatest advancement in office chairs so far!

  • I love how the motor on the fat one's little bike sounds like it's dying.

  • you know the fat slugs in the movie wall-e...although cool as it may be, we are becoming those fat slobs.

  • @optical76 lol !

soon we will have no bones......

and require robot assistance if we fall :L

  • this is freaking kool...but totally pointless

  • wow humans are lazy

  • do you have to wave your arms around like that to ride it? makes you look fruity!

  • It's going to need more power to be able to move the average fat american, if they can afford it.

  • honda helping with american obesity.

  • agreed

  • i guess they can just sell it in europe then...

    wkwkwk

  • I'm looking forward to Honda using this technology to replace wheelchairs and scooters in the future.

    Be THAT Chevy!!! ;^)

  • Jeg vil ha en sånn på kontoret.

  • os mig.

  • they need a bigger seat cause frankly they don't look very comfy.

  • I need one with a backseat to pick up chicks.

  • hahaha not funny

  • This reminds me to "Wall-e" is Honda infiltrating these achievements into the American culture for an obscure purpose?. I've never met a fat Japanese! LOL! except for "sumo" wrestlers of course!...

  • @Vid

    It looks fun.

  • Now will Honda please create a time machine and travel back to 1981 to build a carburator for my Accord that will allow me to pass smog testing!?

    Please?

    LOL

  • move to oregon no smog laws...

  • Ha Ha ha....

Oh, so it's THAT simple? I'll pack my stuff.....

Feel like lendin me some cash?

(I'm not rich, I drive an 81 Honda for bloody sakes!)

    LOL

  • yes move

  • @nightmathzombieethan a few bucks into the pocket could do the job as well as the time machine

  • @liekylieky LOL If I knew where to go, believe me that someone would make a few hundred extra "Testing" my car.... problem is that all my "leads" got caught before I heard of them....

  • @nightmathzombieethan China banned time travel movies (and presumably time travel) so they might be a bit edgy about it.

  • @TheIgraenne Well my car's from Japan, so it shouldn't be an issue....but as for China banning time travel movies....wtf? Are you joking? I'm VERY gullible, so if you're just joking I don't "get it". If you're being serious, and they actually DID ban them...howcome?

  • @nightmathzombieethan It could give people the wrong ideas. I am serious. Google it. It also had something to do with that they were tired of time travel movies disrespecting historical characters.

Also, I might Japan might be edgy on it since they dont wanna piss of China :P

  • @TheIgraenne Wow! I knew the chinese government tries to rule with an iron fist in a velvet glove, but damn that's some crazy stuff! it's hard to picture "Back to the future" being on a banned movie list somewhere! LOL

  • @nightmathzombieethan Indeed. :P But what'cha gonna do. xD

  • @nightmathzombieethan

the fucked up thing is that it bans the depiction of reincarnation, which is really important to that horribly oppressed little stub in the western part of china known as Tibet.
