If it can stream hd what cables do i have to buy cause there input hd an output hd i put my ps3 hd cables in the in what do i put in the out plz help can u send me links with cables what i need to buy???

trying to find a way to watch direct tv dvr on my laptop. My dvr is connected to the internet..via linksys adapter..which also uses wiring..since router far away. linksys adapter for my dvr gives internet access to the dvr.. use remote control to just download VOD or free movies/shows/music videos..games. the dvr.has stored media, watch one..and record one same time..and i can VOD at once Have Mac. Pro? Need sling adapter for far away router? or current dvr online okay or change to sling?

I've always been interested in trying out the slingbox, but I feel like I would never be able to get it setup properly.. For that much money they should be a little more clear on how it works..
