I saw them in a tiny night club called Woods (in Plymouth), on their first-ever UK tour in 1974 (I think), I'd never heard of them, but the bass player in my band had their first album on import, and he said "Go and see them, they're gonna be huge"!

I was there too. What a night! Took my son to see them for the first time.....he really wasn't too optimistic going in but came out mind blown by it all really and truely converted as a fan. How did they keep the sound quality so clear yet so "where's my fucking ear drums gone" loud. It wasn't just a gig but a rock extravaganza that will be remembered for a very very long time. Thanks for giving us the chance to see you one more time boys!
