The thing that really bugs me about this finale is that we waited an entire season for them to get married and then just because of Darkseid being in Oliver, they postpone it or 7 years. Why? There was no reason to. I'm going to pretend they got married offscreen from now on. Haha!
@ZainR I agree that I wish they would have got married instead of waiting 7 years, it bothered me a little bit because I was waiting for a long time for them to get married but it's Clois and you can't help but love them. I thought the whole 7 years thing was kind of weird but I guess it makes sense to show what they are doing and having Clark be Superman.
@hypnosegirl16 What show have you been watching? Lois and Clark have great chemistry and are great together. Just because Lois is independent doesn't mean she doesn't love Clark and she shows a lot of emotion in the series. Just because she doesn't cry and complain all the time and always need to be helped like Lana did doesn't mean she can't have great chemistry with Clark. Erica Durance is a great actress and Clois is Smallville!

Contrary to your opinion, although thank you for respecting mine, I think Lana & Clark were truly in love & the only reason they aren't together is b/c of Lana absorbing all that kryptonite to save the city. Otherwise, they'd still be together regardless of Lois's presence.
@hypnosegirl16 Lois annoyed him when they first met. I think it was because he wasn't used to not being in control in a relationship. But I think that that's why their romantic relationship worked. He needed someone who could be his equal. He was used to "bossing" people around, because he thought he knew what was best for everyone, but he couldn't do that with Lois. She was a strong, no-nonsense person and she ended up bossing him around. He literally met his match in her.
@hypnosegirl16 I actually think Lois is better for Clark even without looking at the mythology. I think she's the only one who could handle Clark. Clark treated Lana like she was a fragile porcelain doll. He started out worshipping Lana at her altar and that never changed. He never believed that she was strong. And I think he was right. Even Lana thought she was his weakness.
@hypnosegirl16 Lana could never hold her own in a fight. Whenever Clark was saving innocents, Lana would need saving as well and he'd drop everything to help her. And she loved being saved by him. When she realized that he never let her do anything herself, it was too late because they'd fallen into a pattern. Lois started out on the show fending for herself. While Clark saved her too, she'd hold her own until Clark got to her. Once Clois happened, Lois made it clear she didn't need saving 24/7.
I'm a Clana fan but I started crying during this scene right in front of my family while we were all watching the finale together. It was mostly because of Clark seeing his dad standing by his mom but it was also beautiful to see Clark and Lois together.
I missed the season finale when it came on when I slept in but even though I didn't like Clois back then, when I saw this scene I fell in love with them now, this scene made me cry especially when Jonathan's spirit is standing there with Martha. Thank you for posting this :) xx
The one where David Doyle before he died on Lois/Clark was a lot better. This wasn't bad, but it's kind of missing a big star preacher, and then BOTH Jonathan and Martha.
Honestly I love smallville but I didn't like the finale. Concerning the weeding, I didn't like it (except for Jonathan and Martha: beautiful) because I felt like that didn't fit them. I mean, the vows... That was too much poetry... that wasn't simple and sometimes some simple words mean more than a beautiful poetry... Though it was beautiful

I can't believe this is the "Wedding" is not until the season finale. I have Season 10 on my pc from "Itunes" I got till episode 6 and I thought the wedding was close. You know what I never understood, how some people thought he and Lana would end up together in the end. I just dont get it, everyone knows that Clark ends up with Lois. And they even alluded to it on the show for years, so how is this a shock to some clana fans? Even AFTER the wedding theres people still in denial. Clois was always going to happen and it did. So happy for Clois at the end, this scene is so damn cute.

It's always been Clois and to tell you the truth I got sick of Lana after awhile because all she ever did was cry and bring Clark down. I started to get teary eye when they showed Johnathan standing next to martha with that nice smile. Just something about that moment when Clark see his dad there just hits me everytime
Like what Clark told Lois earlier on this episode,"You're not on my way,Lois! You're on my side." Their walking together on the wedding aisle is a great metaphor of what Clark said. Amazing couple is amazing!
@gfgkf12 thank u, I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed that they stretched out Lana's story line for far too long, especially the fact that things ended between them because they couldn't physically be together not because they wanted too, it made Lois seem like 2nd best when she's supposed to be the end all be all love of his life and Lana was just supposed to be a high school girlfriend. The writers made it seem as if Lana were to get cured and come back, he's still have feelings for her!

but i think they avoided the 2nd best thing by having Clark move on from Lana in Rabid before he dated Lois, and by having Lois leave when Lana returned... cause that would of been a love triangle situation and it would have forced him to 'choose' and it would of hurt Clois.

man this scene was so close to bring me to tears. the whole episode was like that. but this scene was one of 3 that hit the hardest. Smallville was what brought me and my girl friend closer and was some thing we would sit down and watch. at the end of the episode our daughter yelled out superman, she's 2 years old. we never taught her how to say superman, she just yelled it out randomly. and she absolutely loves the john williams superman march song more then children's songs.
Lois looks beautiful, but I am happy now, that I stopped watching SMallville after season 5,,, it would have been too painful for my hardcore Clana-shipping heart. (lol check out my screenname),,, and I still do think Tom and Kristin had better chemistry. But I am happy for you Clois'ers that they actually explored the relationship on the show. We Clana'ers got season 1-4 and you got the rest. Thats pretty fair no? :)
@clanaaa Well you know to stop watching a show just because Lana isn't with Clark anymore is kind of stupid. I used to be like you I really liked when it was Clark and Lana but after awhile Lois grew on me and I was fine with Clois. I've watched the show for the last 10 years and wasn't Lana with Clark all the way through season 7. Lois and Clark didn't really start their relationship until season 8 anyway so I don't get why you stopped watching after season 5, you missed 5 great seasons.
@clanaaa I think Clois had a great realationship and that was my favorite part of the show watching both of them. So I don't see it as people who like Lana got seasons 1-4 and people who like Lois got seasons 5-10 but people who love Smallville enjoy the enitre series and not just because someone isn't on the show anymore. I just feel real fans of the show would watch every season and enjoy Smallville because you missed a lot of great things in seasons 6-10 and I used to be hardcore Clana fan.

This was such a beautiful wedding. Smallville's done such an outstanding job developing, exploring, and showcasing the iconic journey of LOIS AND CLARK's relationship from total strangers to becoming Soulmates. IMO Erica Durance and Tom Welling are the definitive Lane and Kent for the modern era .
i waited for this moment for more than 10 years now... FINALLY IT CAME!!! It was def. worth waiting.. This moment was so beautiful and touching.. :') Moment was perfect. Clark and Lois makes a beautiful couple together.. i wish i was Lois right about now..lol

@hypnosegirl16 Lois annoyed him when they first met. I think it was because he wasn't used to not being in control in a relationship. But I think that that's why their romantic relationship worked. He needed someone who could be his equal. He was used to "bossing" people around, because he thought he knew what was best for everyone, but he couldn't do that with Lois. She was a strong, no-nonsense person and she ended up bossing him around. He literally met his match in her.

@hypnosegirl16 I actually think Lois is better for Clark even without looking at the mythology. I think she's the only one who could handle Clark. Clark treated Lana like she was a fragile porcelain doll. He started out worshipping Lana at her altar and that never changed. He never believed that she was strong. And I think he was right. Even Lana thought she was his weakness.

@hypnosegirl16 Lana could never hold her own in a fight. Whenever Clark was saving innocents, Lana would need saving as well and he'd drop everything to help her. And she loved being saved by him. When she realized that he never let her do anything herself, it was too late because they'd fallen into a pattern. Lois started out on the show fending for herself. While Clark saved her too, she'd hold her own until Clark got to her. Once Clois happened, Lois made it clear she didn't need saving 24/7.

I'm a Clana fan but I started crying during this scene right in front of my family while we were all watching the finale together. It was mostly because of Clark seeing his dad standing by his mom but it was also beautiful to see Clark and Lois together.

I missed the season finale when it came on when I slept in but even though I didn't like Clois back then, when I saw this scene I fell in love with them now, this scene made me cry especially when Jonathan's spirit is standing there with Martha. Thank you for posting this :) xx

Honestly I love smallville but I didn't like the finale. Concerning the weeding, I didn't like it (except for Jonathan and Martha: beautiful) because I felt like that didn't fit them. I mean, the vows... That was too much poetry... that wasn't simple and sometimes some simple words mean more than a beautiful poetry... Though it was beautiful

I can't believe this is the "Wedding" is not until the season finale. I have Season 10 on my pc from "Itunes" I got till episode 6 and I thought the wedding was close. You know what I never understood, how some people thought he and Lana would end up together in the end. I just dont get it, everyone knows that Clark ends up with Lois. And they even alluded to it on the show for years, so how is this a shock to some clana fans? Even AFTER the wedding theres people still in denial. Clois was always going to happen and it did. So happy for Clois at the end, this scene is so damn cute.

@khaccu I agree with you 100%, some people just don't like the truth and can't accept that Lois and Clark were always meant to be. It's always been Clois and to tell you the truth I got sick of Lana after awhile because all she ever did was cry and bring Clark down. Lois is independent and strong willed and very loving and is the perfect match for Clark. Clois and Smallville will be missed.

Like what Clark told Lois earlier on this episode,"You're not on my way,Lois! You're on my side." Their walking together on the wedding aisle is a great metaphor of what Clark said. Amazing couple is amazing!

@gfgkf12 thank u, I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed that they stretched out Lana's story line for far too long, especially the fact that things ended between them because they couldn't physically be together not because they wanted too, it made Lois seem like 2nd best when she's supposed to be the end all be all love of his life and Lana was just supposed to be a high school girlfriend. The writers made it seem as if Lana were to get cured and come back, he's still have feelings for her!

@Kay2be2M clana should have ended when they realized they didn't love each other anymore, or that they were too bad for each other.
but i think they avoided the 2nd best thing by having Clark move on from Lana in Rabid before he dated Lois, and by having Lois leave when Lana returned... cause that would of been a love triangle situation and it would have forced him to 'choose' and it would of hurt Clois.

man this scene was so close to bring me to tears. the whole episode was like that. but this scene was one of 3 that hit the hardest. Smallville was what brought me and my girl friend closer and was some thing we would sit down and watch. at the end of the episode our daughter yelled out superman, she's 2 years old. we never taught her how to say superman, she just yelled it out randomly. and she absolutely loves the john williams superman march song more then children's songs.

Lois looks beautiful, but I am happy now, that I stopped watching SMallville after season 5,,, it would have been too painful for my hardcore Clana-shipping heart. (lol check out my screenname),,, and I still do think Tom and Kristin had better chemistry. But I am happy for you Clois'ers that they actually explored the relationship on the show. We Clana'ers got season 1-4 and you got the rest. Thats pretty fair no? :)

@clanaaa Well you know to stop watching a show just because Lana isn't with Clark anymore is kind of stupid. I used to be like you I really liked when it was Clark and Lana but after awhile Lois grew on me and I was fine with Clois. I've watched the show for the last 10 years and wasn't Lana with Clark all the way through season 7. Lois and Clark didn't really start their relationship until season 8 anyway so I don't get why you stopped watching after season 5, you missed 5 great seasons.

@clanaaa I think Clois had a great realationship and that was my favorite part of the show watching both of them. So I don't see it as people who like Lana got seasons 1-4 and people who like Lois got seasons 5-10 but people who love Smallville enjoy the enitre series and not just because someone isn't on the show anymore. I just feel real fans of the show would watch every season and enjoy Smallville because you missed a lot of great things in seasons 6-10 and I used to be hardcore Clana fan.

Firstly clana went way the hell into season 8 and secondly its an assumption that that is what the show is essentially about and wasnt good without it. Well to me smallville wasnt about lana, it was about clark and as long as he was around i would always be watching you know?
i did admittedly like clana but i love lois more and the show was always more than one single relationship to me.

This was such a beautiful wedding. Smallville's done such an outstanding job developing, exploring, and showcasing the iconic journey of LOIS AND CLARK's relationship from total strangers to becoming Soulmates. IMO Erica Durance and Tom Welling are the definitive Lane and Kent for the modern era .
