I am so glad that other people would put videos like this on youtube. This is one of my favorite songs. You are right, people will be offended of the goespel of Jesus Christ, but we can't prevent that. I would take offence if, or I should say when, our government says we can't tell everyone about Jesus Christ. Because we have the right to; that is what our faith in Christ is all about. If they say we can't warn others about Hell, then they would be breaking the constitution.

It is made by people who presuppose that belief in God means only through the Christian faith, in SPITE of the fact that what you say is true. The video is disrespectful of the US, as it assumes that only one route to worship is legitimate. And don't you dare question my loyalty to the US. Allegience to the US is unrelated to allegience to a faith. That is something that you just don't get.

Of course you should be proud of your religious faith. However, you should be theologically mature enough to accept the fact that there are other legitimate faiths in the world, and that they are all represented in the United States. Religious arrogance is a trait only of the profoundly ignorant and immature in this world. I am glad that you found a theology that works well for you. It is not the only one, or even the only true theology, however.

The Gospel IS the one true religion!!! Eph 4:5-6 "One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all..." this is rather straightforward, I'd say..

2 Cor. 4:4 "4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them."

I suppose that the ignorant are unaware that one of the most cherished freedoms in America is that of religious freedom. Tens of millions of Americans are not Christian. This song is profoundly offensive to your American countrymen and countrywomen who hold allegience to other faiths, as well as to their country, the USA. I appreciate your comment. You have every right to believe differently from me and others like me that believe in salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. If you take offense it is solely on your part for the gospel is offensive to those who believe not. The Bill of Rights doesn't ensure that you will not be offended by what I say. Our country was founded on faith and God and he has blessed this nation for that, but our country is slipping into sin. Just because we have religious freeedom does not make every religion true.

The belief of the monarchies in Europe that there is only one true religion, such as the Church of England, is what promulgated ultimately the American Revolution and the cherished freedom of religion that we have. If you want to revert to a "only one religion is true" country you must go back to pre-reviolutionary England.

My Daddy wrote that song while starting a church in eastern Kentucky. We were there for a couple years and the work was struggling and my Daddy's heart was heavy burdened then the Lord gave him this song.

His name is Bret Groves and he is currently preaching across America in churches and prisons. I had the privilege of serving with him for seven years before I started a family of my own. He is one of the best men of God I know and I love to hear him preach!
