It's one of the largest airports in Europe & it's very beautifully designed. I'd rather take a flight through Frankfurt then through Heathrow, Amsterdam or Paris. Changi Intl is also one beautiful airport.

i was there in june 2008, and it is huge, but it is an awesome airport. A misunderstanding about our flight gate for our flight to Venice, Italy, sent us to gate A42, then we found out our gate was really A4, so it was really hard to walk that far. My legs felt like they were going to fall off after that.

from bristol i flew to frankfurt with my school to do the german exchange, and it was rather big compared to shitty bristol airport lol, on the way home we got the double decker train to frankfurt to get our plane home :(

monday-saturtay stores have open till 10pm

between the stations Hauptwache and Konstablerwache is Frankfurts biggest shopping street its called "Zeil".

also in downtown there are several bars, clubs,and everything u need:)

The nicest view of Frankfurt u can have from a brigde from the "Main" the river in Frankfurt.

Its just a walk about 5 minutes from the station "Konstablerwache"

Anyway Frankfurt is an international city and you just can asked people the most speak englis

every time when i come back from europe, on the trip back i end up with a long layover in frankfurt or munich... i've got their airport announcements burnt into my memory from having to listen to them soooooo many times... "passagire auf flug, Lufthansa......"

:) i m from frankfurt its written passagiere but very well ! :) if you have a long stop just go into the s-bahn and go to centre for couple hours its only takes about 20 min with the train

really? see, i always asked if there's a quick way to get from the airport to downtown, but no one ever knows... i'm gonna be going through frankfurt on april 27 and on the way back on may 19... on the flight in it's only a 2h connection, so just good enough to grab a couple beers, but on the way back i have another 9h wait... Where do i grab the train from, and does it take me into downtown? i'd do it for sure!
