I saw this tour when it got to the UK: Paul's favourite concert - Stafford Bingley Hall, October '83. This was my favourite Kiss era: Phenomenal lead guitarist, incredible drummer. They were invincible in '83...too bad Vinnie was fired, and all that pop shit was round the corner...

Vinnie was/is a God given talent he gave what they needed - and has needed ever since he was kicked out .... I have nothing against Eric Singer, but this jus proves that Eric Carr was a far better Rock drummer than Singer ever will be ..

Just love the band ... Saw them for the first time back in '83, loved them then, love them now ... Kiss rules!

This is horrible, firehouse was never ment to be played like this, no feeling what so ever. However, everything Vinnie wrote and played live that was his sounded great ! Exciter / Creatures / lick it up but this stinks, Im sure Gene and Paul would agree. One more reason why Tommy fits the band better then ever as he plays it the way Ace would have !

Carr's kit was chrome/silver on the European leg but used a white kit for the U.S. leg of the tour. I wonder why?

There were KISS trademarks that they should've kept without the make-up, looking back, Firehouse helmet & other things were important reminders.

I'll always think the reason KISS weren't bigger in the 80's is the loss of Vinnie, Mark & Bruce didn't have the personality to be in KISS, they played good but didn't have the presence, the songwriting ability, the technique or the mystique that KISS needed at that time. Great footage though. This is probably my 2nd fav. lineup of the band.

You are I million % correct. Vinnie gave them an edge both song writing wise and live which none of the others had. It was such a shame that he just didnt get on with Paul n Gene. I will always rememeber London Wembley Arean Oct 12 1983, 1 of the best shows Iv ever seen. And Iv seen everyone...........

I don't know if it is a show in Portugal or Spain, but I'm sure that the first show without make-up must be whole recorded.
