the man is no Lee Kuan Yew. Inarticulate he flirted with Chinese chauvanism and made no effort then or even now to ensure some degree of proportionate representation in his party. It had Chinese as its lingua franca and despised Indians mainly Tamils and Malays who were fundamentally props in their otherwise palid make up. A poor attempt to whitewash a chauvanist.
