An interesting fact: the spacesuits depicted in the episode are actually old RAF flight suits, more specifically an experimental variety known as the Windak High-Altitude Pressure Suit (which, I admit, is a pretty futuristic-looking piece of equipment for the early 1960s.) The suit had previously appeared in the film adaptation of H.G. Wells's "First Men in the Moon" and later appeared in "Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope" (in the cantina scene.)
I WISH THE BBC COULD MAKE ANIMATED VERSIONS, OF THE MISSING EPISODES OF THE INCOMPLETE STORY WHICH WOULD BE GOOD . IF WE CAN'T GET BACK THE ORIGINAL EPISODES BACK FROM WHEREEVER THEY ARE. I TINK THE WHEEL IN SPACE IS A BRILLIANT STORY WHAT EXISTS OF IT .
Will have to post my own trailers someday - I have the original 60s BBC1 trailer for the story which I've reconstructed on video. Also have original 60s trailers for The Seeds of Death and The War Games and some great ones from the 70s - like The Ambassadors of Death and The Mind of Evil. My recent recon from the off-air audio recording for Seeds looks really good - just need to suss out how to upload them on here - will figure it out one day!
i hate th fact that all th gd episodes seemed 2 hav been wiped, sold, scrapped or burnt, i lov th fact that u used all th surviving material 2 accomplish that gd vid
I always enjoy listening and watching to "The Wheel In Space". The Cybermen are sinister in this with that electronic hum that accompany's them. It works with only 2 as well. They're meant to be a Commando team!
I agree. The term "next time trailer" means in the style of the new series, so naturally lots of people prefer to use the new series music. Otherwise, it's just a trailer!
Agreed. To be honest, it's my dream to find one of the missing serials (perhaps 'The The Tenth Planet' - that's probably the most sought-after one) - that'd just be awesome!

I think using the new series theme screw sup the whole 'classic series' feeling. Just my little opinion :P
