I understand the importance fast double bass drums have in metal, but here they are too loud and the guitars end up being a bit then. Additionally, metal is not a type of music where the voice takes precedence over the instrumentation. The guitars should shine above everything else, but here they are a bit buried.

@CodyRicheson, i guess. you dont kick the drum, you hit the pedal and a rubber stomp hits the drum. and vocal takes presidence over all. and technically, its different for each band. metallica and megadeth have voice over guitar. the guitar is playing the exact same thing over and over again, so they lower the volume to create a rhythmic effect with the vocals, bass and drums. if metal isnt the type of music, you should tell all those metal bands they are doing it wrong.
