  • NOW I KNOW WHERE THE SHUFFLIN' DANCE CAME FROM.. :D

  • FUCK YA ALL.. THIS IS MALUKU ! REPUBLIC OF SOUTH MOLUCCANS!

RMS1950.. FUCK HOLLAND FUCK INDONESIA FUCK THE WORLD!

    - PAPUA / MALUKU AGAINST THE WORLD -

    Hugs from the Philippines!

  • we;re moluccan..proud of being melanesian..

    cakalele....

    DJANG LOEPA MALUKU!!!

  • U see, the Indonesian government is trying to make a religious battle of it. They did the same with the Maluku war in 1999, blaming the RMS as a christian terrorist organisation who was behind the war. They forget the RMS was proclaimed by muslims & christians in 1950 and ofcourse the RMS had nothing to do with the war in 1999.

All independence battles in Indonesia is about the end of Dutch colonialism 1949 when republic jakarta invaded the other countries.

  • @elkavarez u see, cultur and religion is not enough reason to build a nation. we are indonesian (sumatera, java, sulawesi, kalimantan, papua, bali, lombok, etc) because we were together in fight against the dutch. 350 years of colonialism of the dutch should you remember, and the RMS instead of with the rest of the indonesian fight, they decide to choose the dutch side, with the reward Soumokil would be the first president! You see, the dutch just play the own politic!

  • @niisaa it's true the dutch played divide and rule. But that doesn't give indonesia the right to attack maluku and make them part of indonesia. Indonesia today is just the continuiation of the Dutch East Indies, the colony of Holland.

After 1945, South Maluku agreed to make 1 indonesia federation. Jakarta agreed too. But then soon after they agreed, Jakarta attacked Maluku and other countries of the federation. Instead of a federation, they wanted to make 1 nation with violence...

  • @elkavarez Very good , Indonesia was not supposed to be one country, Maluku and Java was different Nations before The Dutch East Indies.

  • Hey@taciturnboy88; remember me?

  • @elkavarez GREAT REPLY TO AN IGNORANT INDONESIAN.

I hope Maluku people will get their land back soon.

  • @taciturnboy88 thank you for your support i am one of the Maluku people and we are glad people help to give us strenght =)

  • @elkavarez You're forgetting one little detail; when Jakarta attacked Maluku, most of the 4.000 Maluku K.N.I.L. at that time we're scattered throughout Indonesia and at the same time we'ren't allowed to return to Maluku but we're ordered to go to the Netherlands. These 4000 K.N.I.L.soldiers happened to be our (grand)fathers i.e., the 1st generation of Maluku people in the Netherlands.

  • @istimewa1x

    true

  • @istimewa1x Respect.. My grandfather was also participating in the coup with Capt. Westerling. Believe me, when the Maluku KNIL soldiers were there, they would have made a lot of TI casualties. They were the commandos of the KNIL and were FEARED by ALL.. When the nationalists heard about a Moluccan platoon coming, they RAN LIKE THE SORRY FUCKING RATS THEY WERE! Never talk shit about the Moluccan people and soldiers for they are WARRIORS!! MENAAA!!!

  • @niisaa Indonesia = Dutch East Indies 2/ JAVA EAST INDIES

Im Australian, Thank God My Parents escape the wrath of Indonesian Goverment.

Indonesia was not a Nation before the Dutch....there was many different NATIONS.

WAS FORCE TO UNITE DURING DUTCH COLONIZATION

NOW DUTCH IS GONE.....JAVA TOOK OVER.

INDONESIA WAS JUST A PATHETIC EXCUSE TO EXCAVATE ALL THE ISLANDS NATURAL RESOURCES FOR THE BENEFITS OF JAVA AND ITS GOVERMENT.

Pathetic Nation....no such thing a FREEDOM THERE

  • Tatau : Tahiti

    Ta Moko : Aotearoa

  • Alifuru tattoos are similar to the Polynesian ones.

  • like it sooo much! thanks for posting.

  • i duno ae but filopinos are having the same problems like use in trying to bust them selves in to the spot light of being called pacific islander or polynesian.. the only fuked up thing about them is that there stealing tattoo designs from micronesians and polynesian and claiming it as there traditional tatooing.. very wrong.. it jus shows how stupid there making themselves look.. pacific islanders will only laugh at them or give them hidings..

  • waht i ment by create is like polynesian maori the haka ect.. tattooing from samoa tonga fiji PNG solomon islands cookislands hawai'i ect uno where im heading wit this? yes that was developed from the pacific.. lapita pottery was created in PNG then the lapita people then spread east as far as fiji..

  • but yer if i has the money i would free ur country. watched many films about the indonesian tortoring east timorese and west papuans. but yer use maluku should fight to free your country not fighting about whether ur pacific islander. lok we all may hav been linked many years about but thats many years ago, cultures evolve and humans evolve in creating there own culture. whatever culture was made in the pacific came from the pacific not south east asia. we created out own culture..

  • Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, New Caledonia and Vanuatu use the word 'Melanesian' to designate a similar cultural and colonial heritage, but many feel it is racial, and prefer to be called by their island's name, Fijian, for example.

  • now pacific islanders do not use the term austronesian... all it is, is a language grouping.. it is not a ethnicity.. soo i rest my case.. in PNG and FIJI the people consist of all 3 cultural groups mela micro and poly but are proud to rep there territory aka melanesia

  • Today d'Urville's(the guy who came up wit the term melanesian) racial classification is known to be inaccurate because it obscures the very great cultural, linguistic, and genetic diversity in the area and combines two quite distinct groups, the Austronesians (who have a much wider distribution than just Melanesia) and the Papuans (who themselves comprise a number of separate groups).

  • another thing to, melanesian is a word only used for the people of papua new guinea, fiji, vanuatu, solomon islands and new caledonia.

  • hello maluku people sorry to break it down for yall.. but use arent the creators of the maori/pacific islanders ect... ok use definately do not share close ties wit PNG /maori or other pacific nations.. use dont hav tatttoos.. the only face tattoos are only found in PNG (the motuan peole) and the nz maori.

  • there is a ancient book of the Maluku alifuru tribes tattoos the book is name is amaone the original is in the Maluku museum in holland many face tattoos you can see in there and many maori similair tribe tattoos you can dicover!! just ask some of famous maori tattoo artist ...they where this year here in holland by a maluku/maori tattoo gathering also Maluku and Papua is in there and our mythology and culture we believe we came from the same mother god

  • holland? well man is there any sites u can give to see this? im very interested.. or can take pictures or if u have any and upload it on youtube? i saw 1 maluku movie and is had a PNG motuan women in it they had bak tattooz and face.. but the movie said maluku was abit anoyed cause its would b like a filopino saying these are tradional filopino and they hav polynesian micronesian in there video.. but yeh let us no where i can find these tattoos

  • there is a bit of the iceberg some liitle information about the The extinction of the Moluccan tattoo culture can partly be explained by the Dutch colonial authority's prohibition on headhunting and other customs. here you see some poly/melanesian patrons tattoos but only from a few tribes cause there is not so much so written, gonna look it up for ya .\

cause there were also a few Maluku tribes with face tattoos... it is on the net but not easy find.. other wise you have go to the museum!!

  • very interesting well dont for get me bra realy interested.. if u gather alot of info, pictures, lanuguages 2gether and post on youtube about ur peoples diversity i believe many pacific islanders melaz and polys will answer and may relate. alot dont care but there are alot that do care about culture.

  • We are gathering as much information as possible and we intend to put it on youtube soon.

  • yihiieeee

  • i get i a sort of trance when i listen to this

  • AU, AHU, AKU is a more respect demanding word in the old malay-melanesian centred languages.... the late Batak king Si Singamangaraja, spoke of himself as Ahu Si Singamangaraja... but then languages change.... new words are adopted... and then we hear about 'Beta Pattirajawane'.... I grew up in a small village in Ambon.... every morning walking about 9 km to go to the Roman Catholic school in the city.... using the kole-kole to cross the bay.... beautiful... so many stories... how can I forget.

  • Bataks derive from Maluku? I didn´t know yet.

  • im moluccan & beta is not the original word in alifuru, we say au in alifuru language

  • freedom is a road selden traffeled by the multiplide .because the multiplide are to blind tosee the fucking road.

one nation, one dream ,FREE MALUKU

  • very skinny warriors

  • Do they need to look like wrestlers?

  • Yeah, i know why you say that.. Just because Maori and islanders are bigger due to taro and kumara.... lool...

But beware mate... This Alifuru people use to be as fearsome headhunters... Just like the Dayaks of Borneo who r skinny but fierce in wars....

  • 4 different countries in 1 country that dont want to be part of the country.

I can only remember most countrys have 1 race fighting for independence

    israel 1 :palestinians

    turkey 1 :kurdistans

    spain 1 :basken

    sri lanka 1 :tamiltigers

    china 1 :tibet

INDONESIA 4: ACHEH, TIMOR, PAPUA, MALUKU

why would THESE 4 countries give up the battle.

They are with 4 nations, the biggest fight for freedom of the world atm...

  • @elkavarez You really only mentioned a few countries and conflicts. Also, please don't forget about the Uyghurs in China and the Mongols of inner mongolia in a lesser extent.... About Indonesia, I fully support Nationalists from Maluku, Timor and Papua.

But seriously, Aceh, I don't get why they want to separate, they share a lot more with the other indonesians than all the other peoples mentioned earlier... Common history, same ancestors mostly, same language family, very similar culture....

  • @Ofionnain ofcourse, there are alot of other cultures who r fighting for their rights. Well Aceh, even if they have almost the same ancestors, languange family and very similar culture with other indonesians, i guess its a culture who doesn't like to get told what to do. And that's what independence is about. It's not like Indonesia asked Aceh to be part of Indonesia, they forced Aceh to be part of it with violence. So the fact they alsmost share the same culture, isn't important anymore

  • @elkavarez I think i,ll inform myself further on their cause because so far, it doesn't seem very legitimate. Also, religion should not be used as a casue for separation... I read that the people of Aceh were somewhat more extreme in their view of islam and that they used this as an argument for they independance....

  • @Ofionnain Religion wasn't the main reason for their independence battle. Aceh, is just like Maluku and Papua, the victim of an Indonesian ( Republic Jakarta ) invasion. Republic Jakarta didn't asked the people of Aceh to become part of Indonesia. They forced them and attacked them and made war with them. 1949 when the Dutch lost their colony.

I'm glad Aceh wants independence too. Now the Indonesian government can't blame the RMS being a dangerous christian organisation.

  • Moluccan ppl are Oceanian, not Asian. Bahasa Tanah was our language, not Bahasa Indonesia.

Bagi mana we say and not apakabar

We say beta and not aku. The dissapearance of our language is part of the big governmentplan to exterminate our culture and make 1 big culture called Indonesia.

I rather see Javanese culture, Balinese culture, Sulawesian culture and Moluccan culture rather then Indonesian culture. Ppl don't want it so stop it...

    U cannot force ppl...

  • interesting though...

cause the word "Beta" in malaysian bahasa melayu is actually a royal language....Only the Kings allowed to use the word "beta" to inform themselves to the people under them.... hmmm.... Yeah, Sukarno got a crazy dream of uniting all different tribes under bahasa Indonesia. Besides, I dun malaysia and Indonesia do exist.. It was a colonial invention by the dutch based on the idea of "Melayu-nesia" and 'Indo-Nesia"

  • even beta and the other moluccan words like koi (indo is kue )are indonesian based.

Not from our real original language ....

good examples is our moluccan original classic songs like :Hena masa waja and Lawa Kopot e fromt ala mena siwa

  • what is the use of "E" and "I" in the original moluccan language ?? is it more of a stress word or a tense indicator???

  • I dont know the origin of Beta, could be from Malaka like Mohi states, but Koi is an expression used in many Austronesian languages, even the maori in NZ use it.

  • it's true elkavarez.....

    Dats what i see too....

Indonesia is a dream fantasy world, same with malaysia.. But at least you Moluccans have the guts to say you have your own culture, and stop imposing an artificial culture. You know, at least thank god your not in Malaysia.. Everybody who is Muslim, including the people of maluku who came and settled there "telah dimelayukan"... That means if your bugis, javanese, madailing, Moluccans who r Muslims, automatically your melayu..

  • more then thousands ppl killed, religious wars made up by the government, 3 year civilian war and arount 100 Moluccan political prisoners.

You say we are a mix between malay and papua. Not really. We are Moluccans. Moluccans idd look like papua's. In time you indeed got mixes between Moluccans with Papua's and Malayan's and Dutch and English. But that doesn't mean we are Indonesian.

  • yes and they are not allowed to keep their culture & religions, that's why 30+ppl were arrested for the cakalele dance heh?

Native language is not important, fighting for freedom is more important then speaking the native language. Besides, it's part of immigration that 4th 5th or 6th generation wont speak their native language anymore....

Focussing on points that bring them togheter wont work, u see what happened since the R.I. occupation

  • the Moluccans in the Moluccan Islands. They feel fine with existing within a wider Indonesia as long as they are allowed to keep their culture & religion(s),or so it seems. Also funny tht the hardest protesters against the "indonesian Occupancy" don't speak their native languages just Dutch and Malay (dialects). Anyways, my point is: stop bickering, hating and focussing on differences, instead focus on points that brings us together. Or would you prefer and Israel/Gaza situation for our Islands?

  • How do you know that maluku people in the netherlands value more to a sovereign state? Have you ever bin to a protest in the netherlands? Have you ever bin to a protest on maluku? How can i focus on points that brings us together if al you do is stigmatising? (Funny how at the same time you tell us to stop hating).

Anyway this problem is more complicated then you think it is, and you claiming things that you didnt even did the research for is ignorant, hatemonger.

  • Islands are a result of mixing between peoples of Austronesian (Malay) and Papuan/Negrito descent in greater or lesser degree. And that is also why most of the tribes speak Austronesian(Malay based) languages (even many of the tribes who are further removed and have less malay traits in their apearance).

It's funny that the Moluccans in NL attach more value to a sovereign Moluccan state than

  • Seluruh ppl feel not fine in the Moluccan islands, they have no choice then to keep their mouth shut. All the things u say were mentioned before against Timorese ppl, when Timor was still part of RI. They said this same shit too. And look what happened, big drama 200.000 civilians killed by the R.I. Army. And Timor is free. Timor is free, and then u have Acheh, Maluku, Papua.

  • heeft iemand die tekst van het lied?

  • are those people the real alifurians from the island of Seram?

i never saw this before in my life

  • nee dit is Ambon

  • jeez u cant ask for help from america cuss they is screwin the native american indians the same way as well as the the african americans/and u cant go to australia cuss what they doin to the aboriginies that would be hypocrticritical

  • America were the ones that Fucked it up for INdonesia cause they didnt want the colonalisatzion too begin with, all the things that the netherland government promised was bullshit. Pfffff USA FUCKS EVERYTHING UP FOR EVERYBODY!!!! They gave the people from java the power and everthing is history sum good decision America made dumbass fuckers

  • IN THE PHILIPPINES THE PYGMY ABORIGINIES ARE CALLED THE AETAS WHO ARE FEW NOW IF NOT INTER MARRIED INTO THE MALAY,, ,,unity in diversity remember ,,,STOP THISE PETTY BICKERING AND TRY TO CREATE A BETTER COUNTRY FOR EVERYONE

  • Free West Melanesia! Free Papua! Free Maluku!

    Mena!!!

  • Not to underline that there is a nation who is superior, but to underline that there is a nation that EXCISTS. And this is a sort of racism that come into excistence because of surviving. A sort of call for help. An EMERGENCY tactic.

But its a very dangerous tactic. Its very dangerous to talk like this like I already said. People who once were behind you, could have turned against you after using this way of expression...

  • The kind of racism that shelters in Mamboro17s words and other young Moluccans ( especially from Holland ) is a different one. Namely, the underlining of a difference between his race and the other race ( in this case the race of the enemy ). Only to make a statement and to underline that there is a nation who excist, and that the Moluccan nation is a different nation then the Javanese nation.

  • I think there are 2 sorts of racism. The first is the kind of racism that you feel as nation superior facing all other nations. I dont think that is the case with the Moluccan youth.

  • Hey elkarez,

And believe me, some of these rappers by whom some of our youngsters are so obviously being influenced by are racists themselves if you care to look at it. Some of our youngsters are falling for that trap, quite obvious.

  • I can understand mamboro17 why he said yellowskinned indonesians. It's normal a nation who got threatened with extinction would defend themself with a little bit racism in it.

But don't get me wrong, you are right istimewa, it's not good to talk like that, it won'thelp Maluku in their fight for freedom

Talk racism/facism will not help our fight for freedom....This is especially for the Moluccan youth to watch out with it, I understand the anger but racism will only work against us

  • What's more (elkavarez), it's a justification for something sooooo irrational. Normally something we see white people do( = to good something that's wrong). Talk about being victimized. We ought to stop being so much of a victim and take measures into our own hands.

    THAT'S true warrior spirit!!! MENA!

  • Galvatron4 Moluccan people are Melanesian. And Melanesian are not eastern Malayo-Polynesians from Micronesia and Polynesia.

You can split Oceania in 3 parts: Micronesia, Polynesia and Melanesia.

    Moluccans belong to Oceania

  • You`r right man...

    Nesian Pride!!!

    Mena

    Muria!! Tamata Maluku..!!

  • This a stupid notion your describing because if you look into the history of the molluccan islands you can see that they are a mixed people of mixed papuan and malay descent. To pretend that Moluccans are a completely separate race to the rest of the indonesians is untrue... If you were not mixed you would look exactly like papuans... Which you don't. Most of the tribes in eastern indonesia stretching into the Pacific

  • Seluruh do your homework better!!

the british science investigators already discoverded decades ago that the moluccan dna is totally different with the indonesian.

you can see it clearly with a lot of moluccan familie's that arent mix so much no more with indonesians.

than you see a 100% difference.

also in heart, soul original language and music and flora&fauna Maluku belongs to melanesia. another clear fact..In holland many moluccan familie's are more seen as black than asians.

  • I have something controversial here... I got a cousin who claimed to be of Bugis ancestry...

but what i don't understand is, unlike normal typical malays, he has really really dark brown skinlike dark chocolate, kinda frizzy hair and very well built body.... I was wodneirng, are there any migrations of people of the Moluccas into Sulawesi and got adopted into the bugis culture in some ways ??

  • The cakalele song is Great !!

  • why this group of Maluku island dont fight for freedom?

  • We are fightingfor our freedom.. But noone want to reconice us..

  • We have been fighting for freedom since 1950!

  • maluku indonesia bukan melanesia

  • Terus..Papua Barat bukang Melanesia juga?

  • hahaaaeei

  • @pejantan81 Maluku is Melanesia....Not ASIA.

Nyong Ambon here representing Huwae Families and Mollucans around the World...eg Netherland,USA,Australia.

    Mena

    Muria!!

  • Beetje nep hoor.

  • Moluccan/Ambon people are no Melanesians but Central Malayo-Polynesians or Bandanesian: from around the Banda Sea, Melanesians are Eastern Malayo-Polynesians, the people from Micronesia and Polynesia.

The Moluccan historie goes back to ancient Egypt en the Greek/Roman Empire, in Egypt hieroglyphic inscriptions were found from 3,600 years ago refering to the spice trade with the region we now know as the Moluccas.

    Anyway, great video!

  • @ BlackKasuari DragonToes13 and istimewa1x

  • Je verwart taal met genetica. De meeste molukse talen (ongeveer 60) horen bij de malayo-polynesische talen, het volk is echter melanesisch. Voor polynesie/micronesie ga je hiermee ook de fout in.

  • Moluccan people are melanesians! Don`t look at the language. Look at Vanuatu, they talk austronesian languages and you wanna tell that they are also from malayo-polynesian descent? btw. there are still parts in maluku where they talk Papuan languages.

I think you don`t really know what you are talking about Galvatron4.

  • Ow was niet tegen mij.. hahaha

  • io was tegen dragontoes13..hahaha..ben niet met hem eens namelijk.

  • Hey Dragontoes13, cakalele ain't no pothead/crack sniffin rap neither. It's the real thing!

  • FUCK BRO !!~!!! I COULDN'T AGREE BETTER.....

MANY EMPIRES HAS RISE AND FALL, BUT THESE GUYS ARE STILL SITTING THERE, DANCING AND SO GODAMNED STRONG !!! These Maluku dudes, Believe it or not, should be the role model for the rest of Oceania...Cause these guys have a sense of Unity and solidarity compared to the Polynesians (tongans and Samoans) among themselves...

  • Free West Melanesia! Free Papua! Free Maluku!

  • It is Cakalele Hutumuri. The wardance of the Malukuan village of Hutumuri on the island of Ambon. They are celebrating their blood-brotherhood with the villages of Sirisori and Tamilou. The wardances are performed to oust the evil spirits

  • Nice video!! Everytime I hear the tifa I feel proud to be from maluku!!

  • tranen zo trots op deze mannen

  • So proud to be from Maluku and I'm passing it on to my children. I sometimes witness our silly arguments on the Maluku forum and I strongly advise those people watch some of these video's just to rekindle our purposes

  • Perdjuangan Bangsa Maluku Selatan

  • Indeed and we are proud to be black! Cause that strengthens us in our struggle for freedom from the yellow skinned Indonesians!

Free Maluku! Viva Maluku del Sud! Viva RMS

  • Hey Mamboro17, Though I'm proud of my Polynesian/Maluku heritage I think Moluccan pride is different than what you're displaying dude...I smell dangerous racism in your utterances. That's not us! We are a warrior nation allright but NOT murderers!

  • Murderers? Where did I state something like that e?

  • No you didn't state that with words but your comments smell like facsism/racism('yellow skinned Indonesians'), that makes you no better than 'the' white man(for instance)

  • yeah I agree with you.. Mamboro, you shouldn't say yellow skinned Indonesia... Considering some people of Maluku might some have mix heritage with those "yellow skinned indonesian"..

Istimewax, your are right on some points about your heritage.. i will post you an interesting link whcih has something to do with Moluccas

  • EXCELLENT VIDEO!!!! Those Brothers were solid!!

Though I am not Melanesian, I consider you and all the people of Oceania as MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS. And judging the spirit and defiance shown in this video, YOU WILL DEFEAT THE RACIST JAVANESE IMPERIALISTS AND REGAIN YOUR FREEDOM.

Much love and respect to my Warrior Brothers of Maluku.

    from a Brotha in Amerikkka.
