People say you cannot decide who you fall in love with but at the end of the day if this was 100% true then why arent more people marrying their cousins, or even siblings, how come there arent so many people who are 50 years age difference who dont fall in love. At the end of the day there is some logic.
If you fall in love with someone and I tell you this is your half sister/brother chances are you wont like it. Every culture has a right to protect its heritage.
"Why don't people fall in love with their cousins?"
It's kind of hard to fall in love with someone you've known since you were babies. Now, if you were 22 years old and you were introduced to your beautiful 22 year old cousin for the first time, then you can (and some do) fall in love with your cousin. That happens all the time. People just don't act on it.
"How come there aren't so many ppl with 50 years agar difference"
Its kinda hard for a 60yr old to find a compatible 10yr old, u know?
If your sister adn you seperated at birth then met and "fell in love" and someone showed up and said, that's your ssiter chances are you wouldn't take thing further and have kids etc.
I'm just trying to say there is more logic in love than most people think. Like when you say "compatible" it often happens people just seem to find compatible people nearby, they almost settle, true love isnt that easy.
Mohammed, the founder of Islam married a 9 year old girl.
Love isn't logical, that's how a person can fall in love with their sister in the first place. "Logic" is what makes them supress those feelings once they find out that they are siblings, however, they will still be in love. You can't just shut it off.
I'm talking about siblings who don't know that they are siblings, of course.
I didn't know that about Muhammad. I'm not sure how that fact helps your point, but you just raised some serious questions in my mind about Islam and religion.
The way love is defined I am completely wrong but my opinion right or wrong is just that as at the end of the day love is a chemical process, hormones such as oxytocin play a part. By definiton I am completely wrong, that was just my opinion relating to this video.
Thank you for sharing your points with view, I am glad we could converse constructively and wish you all the best.
The whole dating thing just seems intimidating for me as a nigerian female. I just feel it's always easier for a guy to have freedom to date and marry outside his cultural group than a woman. I believe there's a lot more pressure and complexity for a woman.
You go brother, whatever brings you joy and happiness is what count. I'm glad you didn't let your family desire dictate your life. As for my mother, as long as the lady is an African regardless of what country or culture.
why as long as is an african?? for me....i personally think it does not matter what color, culture or skin matters in a relationship or marriage.....as long as there is happyness love trust and faith....i disagree with u...if indeed u think as long is african....i wish everybody much luck and happyness in whatever relationship they r in....no matter white or black....and to u who has send the video....i wish u much luck and all the best for ur marriage too.....
