I love Carrie Fisher, she's a hoot!! People seriously need to stop going on about her weight. She went through a lot in the years after Star Wars. Actually she's lost quite a bit of weight in the past year or so through Jenny Craig, which I think is great. The bottom line is that she is a hilarious, entertaining woman. Our society makes me sick sometimes in how obsessed we are with looks. There's more to a person than their physical appearance.

the ECT itself doesn't cause weight gain, but bouts with mania often do and could explain some. However more likely she is taking a different medication to treat the bipolar many of which can have drastic weight gain (sometimes upwards of 100lbs).

oops, i posted before the interview was finished. he went there after all, and i got to hear about it. good interview. wonder how good the book is?

non convulsive electric (shock?) therapy. craig did NOT want to go there. i wanted to hear all about it. i heard it's great for depression. depression kills. not always, but often enough. i've heard this therapy can cure it. wow. that's like curing cancer of the mind. not that i'm depressed or anything. but i've known enough people who have died from it. :( i'd love to get carry on my fitness program, but other than that she seems funny, charming, and right as rain.
