That's the only part of this system that's free....

Also, remember that the Kore Player doesn't come with any sounds itself, it's just a platform for playing specific types of files...

lmao..i said "wow" & didn't realize it, till now that is lmao.. this is definitely worth the money.TRY THE DEMO (just go to their website) I did & it work's great! also, try guitar rig 3-love it. definitely worth the money. come to think about it, it's actually SAVING MONEY. With other programs you always find yourself wanting more sounds/equipment to fit what you need. Don't Know about you, but im pretty content ;P

Way Worth It man! I remember opening a bunch of Virtual Instruments into one Daw plus recording other things, it crashed my IMac. Kore saves me alot of time and effort when using VIs. Plus saves me some Comp Power. 500 Bucks isn't alot for what your getting!

Trust me, if you want to play live, find things quickly, stack tonnes of effects and really have maximum tweakability, then KORE is an essential.

it comes with every NI product you have installed.

So yes, any genre of music.

And drums, as long as you have Battery, also, any VST can be loaded into Kore and manipulated.

Which means your own drum machines can be used.

one of the nicer things about KORE is that it harbors the VST's leaving your sequencer CPU alone. While i have a P4 and have no problems (obvious) my sequencer's CPU load stays low when using KORE. Just make suuure this is something you would use. It's a seemingly marginal piece of equipment to have...unless you have (3) or more Native Instrument programs, as KORE doesn't really support a whole lot of VST's per se. KORE 2 (out this week i believe) may be another story---not sure.
