just have your defender be athletic and pressure him right at GLE, and have the slide guy anticipate the roll back or C cut, cause 9 out of 10 times that attackman can get a shot off before the slide is there, and if the slide comes too early and the attackman knows what he's doing.. its an easy feed.
Thanks, I am not sure there is a right or wrong way, and in college, or with advanced teams, mixing it up with two packeages would be awesome, thanks for the kind words, more drill on our site,
This is probably the best thing I've heard...having Defender play with his stick on the back hand and not the traditional "upfield" to protect against the inside role. Then adjacent slide help slides to the outside hand of the ball carrier....thanks for the helpful info and great job coach Mike!
