  • Awesome! Thank you so much for making and posting this video. I grew up in Manzanita until we moved in 1987, between my Sophomore and Jr years of HS. Have only been able to make it back a couple times since then and it's been far too many years since the last trip. Obviously much of the town has changed but the beach is exactly as I remember it. Spent hours and hours on that beach. Can't wait to get back, especially after watching your video! Thank You!

  • My grandparents have a house in Manzanita right there in the beach. We go there every fourth of July. To me, it's the most beautiful place in the world.

  • love Manzanita! I've stayed there for a week on two occasions and make a point to stop there when I visit the Portland area.

  • i live in portland most of the time...manzanita part time. and yes...they both rule.

  • And what's the weather like in Portland? Is it rainy or sunny? The Trail Blazers are the pride of the city?I am a fan of the team, especially Rudy and Brandon.

  • Portland is an amazing city. I live in downtown Portland and I absolutely love it. The only thing not going so right with Oregon (and everyone else) is the economy.

  • I just got back from Manzanita/ Nehalem on Sunday and Yes, it really is that beautiful. I grew up in Oregon, I'm displaced now but Oregon is always on my mind. I can assume if you live in the Metro areas it's not so happy but the back areas of Oregon ARE stunning!
