  • Nice try. I am from western Anatolia. We play Zeybek in the weddings. You guys here do it in a very naive way. Everyone like an independent planet. You have to turn on a circle. I think you guys drunk too much of raki (uzi) so you dont know what you are doing there. Nice try though, practice makes perfect :-)

  • Hehe...Sorry, but what u see is not zeybek and is not in greece.

  • (Greek) Zeibekiko=Zeybek (Aegean Turkish), (Gr)tsifteteli = Ciftetelli (Turkish) which means double stringed in Turkish. In any case, they have a different style I guess.

  • well...maybe u have right, but look at my videos presenting zeibekiko dances and search Zeybek on youtube.U'll see the difference, even if they have the same root.
