The game really doesnt get any big updates, only about two or three times a year, and there arent that many fun quest aside from the main. I stopped playing cause I couldnt afford anything any more items and there was nothing else other than pvp which is bs sometimes
he also left out that you can do dungens and in some places like the newbie first map(the one outside home3)have world boss(like the map outside home 3 i forgot its name sorry has a gianed cerb boss while others have other giant demons or avatars which are 2-4 times the size of the normal demons(the map boss are 4-8 times the size so they do high damage so always brignt a party)also that you can mount some demons i would put more info but i don't want to spoil it all for those who are starting
it is actully a very good and fun game i play it and im a lvl 28 trust me he left out alot of good stuff you should know like for one thing you can do some specials with your demon i can't really explanen it good but your demon borrows a skill from another one of your demons and do a extreamly strong attack(they are usally aboue 200 damage or 2,000 if they are the enemys weakness and below 200 if they have magic pertect also some are buffs.
Kind of disappointed in this game for a few reasons. The animation seem slow, and the setting is in a post-apocalyptic area unlike it's other games. If you played any of the Persona games on the consoles, Persona, 2, and 4 you would kind feel that you would have a online adventure in a modern day (Japanese lifestyle) setting.
I ambit I thought I would be going to school in this game and fighting shadows at night like the offline Persona games. But no. I only played this because I play Persona.

@MattUnseal play the game yourself, it's really well made with cutscenes hundreds of demons you can capture and fuse together, lots of character customization and weapons, an excellent pvp and dungeons. If your a fan of Shin Megami Tensei then you should definitely try out this game

Just gonna clear this up. I've played this game and Mabinogi. This isn't anywhere near a "copy" of Mabinogi. The only thing similar is the combat system and the way your demons can help you which is similar to Mabis pet system but free and less freedom with the AIs. Also the freedom of choosing skills if similar but if you screw up on Megaten you need to buy lethes(skill reset) bottles. On mabi you just buy a rebirth and train different skills. 2 unique and different games

- Not called worlds. It's called Areas.
- You don't even know what a spin attack is, lol.
- You can have a max of 17k at that level but it will increase to to more.
- Auto attack sucks
- It's not scanning anything in the map, it's just a effect.
- It does tell you where to go.
- You didn't even talk about the fusion/rebirth/tarots/ss/si/pvp, properly.

You're entire "review" of this was horrible. Not only were you mispronouncing the game's title, but you fail to understand the game's systems. If you had taken the 5 minutes it would have taken to read the basic newbie guide on the game's website you would know that half of what you said was incorrect. You're from mmohut.com, I would like to to think that someone representing a website devoted to mmo's would at least take the time to grasp the concepts of the game they were doing a video on.

WTF are you guys talking about? The servers are packed. It's hard to find a non-instanced place without anybody visible. The demon system is really good, this is my favorite MMORPG, I quit WoW for this.

@mmog8mer ??? r u really that sure that nobody on the server?... i just played the game and it PACKED!! srsly... kinda abit laggy due to some areas bcos since its packed (logic). but srsly.. its rly crowded on the a few areas. Dungeons, cities, forest... even the most furthest map i step my foot on, i saw a couple of players running by quite many times.

OMG, stop calling it "pets" or "persona" they are minions, this is SHIN MEGAMI TENSEI damnit! But... Well, after Nocture fail, I suppose I can't expect much from Imagine... pls, tell me I can have a Tenma!!! *sigh* Shin Megami Tensei was supposed to be the adult segment of the series, Persona for teenagers and Devil Children for kids... but Nocturne has a teenagers as main character and imagine look like kidz....

@MattUnseal play the game yourself, it's really well made with cutscenes hundreds of demons you can capture and fuse together, lots of character customization and weapons, an excellent pvp and dungeons. If your a fan of Shin Megami Tensei then you should definitely try out this game

every video i've seen of ths game the character gets throttled. you waste like half of your health is gone fighting on monster. and i looks like the HP regen is kinda shitty too. is that a normal occurance or are you just really bad?

Just gonna clear this up. I've played this game and Mabinogi. This isn't anywhere near a "copy" of Mabinogi. The only thing similar is the combat system and the way your demons can help you which is similar to Mabis pet system but free and less freedom with the AIs. Also the freedom of choosing skills if similar but if you screw up on Megaten you need to buy lethes(skill reset) bottles. On mabi you just buy a rebirth and train different skills. 2 unique and different games
