  • The only thing that isn't 'sustainable' is the massive welfare state, this is evident in both theory and practice. Absent a welfare state, immigration would flow to jobs, their supply governed by supply & demand --benefiting all, no need for gov't controls and alarmism. Instead, Britain, like the U.S, embraced social welfarism following WWII, which was not only unnecessary, but hindered economic growth. Solving the immigrant problem is easy - read more Adam Smith and less Keynes/Marx.

  • the awkward moment when you have to add 70'000 irish a year now! :L

  • Turkey- IMF - give them all the money.

May as well give India and Pakistan some to.

I think china should join the eu too. Lol

  • So why would turkey want to join.

Answer because then the IMF can give them money.

Why any other eu country want them to join, well they may as well put money down the drain

  • @IslamsVisionofWorld Irish moved around the world aswell. So shut up twat

  • @manormaid if you havin noticed we are british

  • I voted for UKIP what happened to the rest of the voting public who never???......Don`t they get it yet

  • akward moment when that man speaking wakes up and found his skin brown, he turned asian lol

  • Let's face it. The British people, like other parts of Europe have been screwed. They come here and take our jobs, houses, healthcare. If it was us who benefitted, they wouldn't all be clamouring to get in. They've shat all over us thanks to the filthy traitors and theives in government, who want locking up. But the biggest blame is with the British people. For not rioting and causing mayhem. Sadly they're idiots and cowards.

  • Well, there's some distortions of the truth here as well, it's not like EVERY foreigner coming to Britain gets housing and financial support. First of all, ONLY people with permanent legal status in the UK (ie. permanent residence, ILTR, family visas, etc. NOT student, working visas or asylum seekers) ARE entitled to state benefits. EU citizens must have worked for at least 12 months in the UK to qualify for Jobseekers allowance. I know as I used to work in a Jobcentre

  • TOO MUCH TALKING AND STATISTICAL REPORTING AND NOT ENOUGH ACTION

  • Foreign population (most recent) by country IN PERCENT 1 Luxembourg: 37.3 2 New Zealand: 24.2 3 Australia: 23.6 4 Switzerland: 19.3 5 Canada: 17.4 6 United States: 10.4 7 Austria: 9.3 8 Germany: 8.9 9 Belgium: 8.8 10 France: 5.6 11 Sweden: 5.4 12 Denmark: 4.8 13 Netherlands: 4.1 14 Norway: 4.1 15 United Kingdom: 4
  • THIS GAME IS A PART OF A BIG AGENDA RULED BY THE ELITE .

NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU SHOUT AND CRY ABOUT ASPECTS LIKE IMMIGRATION THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT ANY OF YOU.

THEY HAVE A PLAN TO FOLLOW SO .....THAT'S WHY THEY ARE ALL THE SAME.

    GOOD LUCK !

  • Am I over simplifying this? If you have not paid into the system, then don't expect any benefits or free housing. However, If you arrive here, work and support you and your family , superb we welcome you.

  • @axn101101 No, that's not over simplified. That's my opinion in a nutshell too.

  • lol

  • No, leaving the EU will have only little or no effect. Switzerland isn't in the EU and has the highest rate of foreigners of all european countries (20%). Germany is in the EU and passed a law some time ago that restricted immigration and its population has been slowly but steadily decreasing since about 2005. And now don't tell me that has a bad effect for the pensions. There are other factors.

  • @lampyleuchte So what you are saying in effect that all nations of the world must have an ever expanding population or we will all go to hell????

  • @lampyleuchte

how can it controll who comes through its borders when it is a member of shengen

  • "If somebody comes into you're country, with no money, no friends and can't speak the language, and then steals your job...then you're shit!"

    Jimmy Carr

  • Enoch Powell does any more need be said.

  • I dont think we have much of a choice, we need to leave the EU. The stupidity of putting people in power who are not elected is a clear indication that the rules of these chambers dont work. Seems to me or sounds like during the UK election there was a propaganda system used to exaggerate and manipulate UKIP manifesto to make it look racist. thanks for uploading this.

  • Shouldn't we have a little look at how the UK has ruined other countrie's economy over the centuries... and then talk about how today's situation is "skewed" in relation to historic facts?

For instance... when MILLIONS of people in India starved to their deaths, due to the trading policy.... shouldn't the UK of today suffer the same scale of respect, before anyone can legally start to complain?

The UK has been living on the benefits of those it murdered... and no one said a word.

    Think!

  • @TraustiHraunfjord Yes - You should think instead of posting rubbish. Trade creates wealth and opportunity and world trade was and is a force for good.

  • @ukipwebmaster

Ok, explain how the trade did benefit India during the times when India was a slave colony for the UK.

How did it benefit the Indians who died horrible deaths by the millions, that some fat pigs in the UK got fatter?

Feel free to explain that little tidbit if you dare. Bengal famine of 1770, brought on by the British East India company and "fair trade" policies.

How about having the same policies applied in reverse? Getting one out of 3 in the UK killed from starvation?

  • @TraustiHraunfjord Well thank you for enlightening me. Your take on history is a one sided view made up of Hollywood clichés,,,,,,,,

  • @TraustiHraunfjord Shouldnt you look in the mirror and see an asshole? You stupid man, britain just cant keep letting people in cos eventually it will cease to be able to help anyone!! You idiot

  • @TraustiHraunfjord shouldn't you stop harping on about the past? This is 2011, not 1900 time to give up with this "UK must pay world" nonsense for whatever you lot want to keep digging up.

  • @TraustiHraunfjord india suffered starvation before the british arrived the UK implemented reforms that in the long run made the nation more productive it was greedy private individal traders farmers and native rulers who created the famines.

  • @TraustiHraunfjord

What is it with people thinking we deserve it and we reap what we sew?. Why should anyone in England feel guilty for something other people did a long long time ago?. That's as silly as trying to get German people to apologize for bombing english towns in the second world war. It's not going to happen.

  • Wow, you guys actually give immigrants a place to live and free cash every week. Are you INSANE? They are going to flood in.

  • @WinchesterRanger You've got the problem in a nutshell.

  • @ukipwebmaster Thanks, I seriously thought I was missing something, it just didn't seem feasible that a government could act so irresponsibly towards its own people by giving away their hard earned tax money to foreign nationals.

I begin to see the scope of your problem, your politicians are truly insane.

  • @WinchesterRanger

We give british people who dont work and do sod all free places to live, free benefits and all that so you cant turn round and say you cant give it to immigrants aswell. If all theese "true english" chavs who never work all their lives but get given free cash and houses went out and got jobs employers would not give immigrants so many jobs in the first place.

  • Please correct me if I'm wrong but how is a country like Turkey even considered for the EU when it isn't even a "European" country?

  • @Xenda lol because they want to become a "European" country. They need to revamp there military coo as well as resolve the illegal occupation of the north of Cyprus otherwise they will not be allowed in. If they make a settlement to release the north of Cyprus on grounds that turkey and Cyprus would then both be Europe members then they stand a good chance of joining Europe. They can use this as way in i think.

  • We are screwed...

  • Anybody else get this video on DVD through the post?

  • a giant ghetto

  • Great Brittain !

re-invent yourself, because this is going from bad to worse.

European culture is for all: FREEDOM

islam is everything but freedom and so is the European Union.

I wish the nation that liberated Europe from the nazi's, ALL THE BEST.

YOU WILL NEVER SURRENDER...... Churchill promised!

  • My feeling tells me there is something wrong with the analysis in this video. Germany has a comparable infrastructure and social system to that of Britain. AND Germany is also in the EU. Yet we do not have a massive influx of immigrants. The language is a factor, of course, but can it be so decisive?

  • @shanepaulcoward The question is, can Britain really pull out of the EU? have you ever thouth of the catastrophic consequenses? when it comes to Africa, South America and Asia it's easy to control immigration and that should be step number 1! Have thouth about british busisness trough out Europe paying ridiculous amount of taxes for not being part of the EU?

  • @CANVECVIDEO Look at Switzerland. Norway, Greenland and Singapore. Small and successful independent countries that have no need to be absorbed by a larger entity.

  • Britain is becoming a third world country and is draining the latter of its workers. The bloated bureaucracy that is the NHS is being strangled by people who cannot speak English. UKIP is the only mainstream party that will address this vital issue, and that is why I will join them as soon as I am old enough.

  • UKIP must talk about asylum, and how every single "refugee" is either bogus or has passed a safe country. Nigel Farage and his fellow right wing travellers should state as loud as they can that there is no obligation upon the coalition government to accept any more people on "compassionate "grounds.

  • the danger of immigration is the flawed cultures that are retained by those that have escaped the dire situations of their countries from which these cultures had caused so much harm. if i am incorrect then why are they here? the globalist agenda is destroying the long founded culture of the UK that our relatives gave their lives for. when in Rome do as the Romans do, if not go somewhere else that is more in tune with your un-evolved sensibilities. multiculturalism is illogical nonsense.

  • The government's so-called immigration cap will eventually amount to nothing; even if implemented, it will allow a town the size of Maidstone to be added to this country ever year. This is before one even considers the unsustainable number of EU migrants and the foreigners from countries with EU visas such as Ukraine, India, Molodva and Bosnia.

  • I'm no racist, but it's surely not acceptable when the majority of people in a town or city aren't white. This is a serious issue that needs addressing by the only party that will give the British people a voice. I am proud to say that this party is UKIP.

  • @MrYoungIndependence I live in Cleveland - where the majority of people are black. It's really not a problem. And yes it is racist for you to say it's not acceptable for whites to be a minority unless you can explain why it is a "serious issue" instead of simply asserting it.

1 in 8 Americans are foreign-born. Another 1 in 8 are the children of immigrants. (not including illegals). It's OK England. Come to the dark side... we have Chinese food and Taco Tuesdays.

  • @thegillotine09 Most Americans are foreign born as the Indian tribes are the true indigenous people. To compare half a continent with plenty of space to a small island doesn't cut the mustard. It's incredibly difficult for Britons of all shapes, creeds and colours to migrate to the USA so I suggest you stop throwing stones....

  • @ukipwebmaster By "foreign born" I mean the person was actually born outside of the united states. I'm sure immigration is a hassle but we do have over 1 million immigrate legally to the united states every year and another million or so immigrating illegally (out of 300 million total population) whereas net immigration in the UK (in - out) is only about 130,000 out of a population of 60 million. So our immigration is 4x that of the UK's with respect to immigration.

  • @thegillotine09 Your figures on net UK immigration are wrong.

  • @ukipwebmaster

Sorry about that I was looking at the wrong statistic. It's closer to 200,000. Point remains the same.

And to be fair the 'native' americans are also immigrants technically.

  • @ukipwebmaster

Would you consider people of celtic heritage in England to be foreigners since they immigrated to the British Isles around 700 BCE? How long does a group of people have to be on a land mass before they're considered "indigenous"? Because to be fair the native americans were immigrants too :P

  • @thegillotine09 From your mindset and logic there are no indigenous peoples whatsoever on the planet or differing cultures and there I was thinking that those on the left believed in 'diversity'?

  • @ukipwebmaster

In my logic there are no indigenous people unless you define indigenous as 'ethnic groups existing in an area before being exposed to western culture'. I certainly did not say there are differing cultures. Those on the left believe in 'cultural diversity'. Those on the right believe in 'cultural purity'. I believe that culture is not the province of government.

  • @thegillotine09 How is destroying a culture 'diverse'?

  • @ukipwebmaster Not sure what you're replying to. I don't particularly advocate diversity as I don't see any inherent value in diversity and therefore oppose government programs attempting to "promote diversity and multiculturalism". However, I also don't see any inherent value in any particular culture and therefore oppose government programs attempting to "protect culture". An idea that requires protection by law is obviously obsolete or flawed.

  • @thegillotine09 Governments the world over seem intent on destroying and homogenising culture and replacing it with their own brand of political ideals.

  • @ukipwebmaster

Could you give some examples of governments destroying culture? I don't live in England but I don't know of the British government banning references to the queen or requiring that the english drive on the right side of the road or demanding that no one speak English or banning fish n' chips, etc. The focus of this video is immigration, but I don't think that mere exposure to other cultures is going to destroy english culture.

  • @thegillotine09 If you actually read the post you are commenting on I refer to governments throughout the world and their desire to control us overtly and covertly.

This ranges in extremes from the Chinese government destroying Tibetan culture to the nannying tendency throughout Western governments in the belief they know what's best for us.

  • @ukipwebmaster The course of action that I would advocate is very strongly pointing out the moral flaws in certain foreign cultures until anyone advocating that culture is looked at with scorn by the general population and is given no place in society. That approach has done wonders with racism over here. If you're trying to protect your culture then foundations maintaining historical artifacts are a good way to go. I've been to England several times and I know there are plenty of those.

  • @thegillotine09

Yeah when America starts to resemble the countries where those " Immigrants" fled from

Where will you all run to?

Remember no one leaves their country, home and family because it is good

They leave because it is bad!

  • How many immigrants come with the attitude of "What value can I bring to the UK (or the US, France, etc.)? What useful contribution can I make, as a new citizen? How can I show my appreciation for being accepted into this society?"

  • It's too late. There will be mass civil unrest based on ethnicity & religion. This isn't just a problem with Britain. The whole world is fucked. I don't blame the dirt-poor immigrants wanting to come here, often risking their lives. But they're not rational. The immigrants aren't thinking to themselves 'hmmm... can Britain sustain all of us?'. Then add the cultural & religious differences into the mix, and it really is a depressing picture. The future is not bright for the UK, or the world.

  • @shanepaulcoward Theyve taken us over. As long as the idiots keep watch their TVs all day were doomed.

  • I think it is too late... UK used to be a a great country with diversity and souveregnity,,, now it has totally been destroyed by socialists with "great" ideas,, and it has economically been pushed to the limits...

  • Immigration can be great for society. A controlled, continual flow of young skilled immigrants can ensure there will be more workers than pensioners thus avoiding the demographic nightmares of nations like Japan, where immigration law is ridiculously strict and the nation is becoming a culturally homogeneous country of pensioners supported by fewer and fewer workers. When an immigrant works, they increase economic activity. In the long-run healthy immigration means more jobs for British workers.

  • @tedfreeway Except there is a flaw in your argument. This isn't a Zero sum game. Firstly, don't the countries where immigration comes from also have pensioners that need looking after as you put it? What will happen to them, or don't they come into your equation? On a world level your hypothesis relies on ever expanding population growth to keep it going. Naturally expanding and shrinking populations have occurred before and people and technology adapt to the situation.

  • @ukipwebmaster A country with few workers to support their pensioners should encourage foreign labor from nations with too many people. All nations have pensioners. Some of those nations have significantly more workers than pensioners, such as India. Indian pensioners will not be losing out when one of their workers moves to where labor is needed. This allows for global re-balancing. Nations with too many workers have people emigrate. Nations with too few have people immigrate. How dynamic.

  • @tedfreeway The world as a whole is living longer and it's very selfish of you to suggest that only certain 'pensioners' need looking after not others. Also, what happens when this generation of immigrants become pensioners themselves? With the constant stream of migrants needed to keep up with your theory we won't just be overcrowded, we won't be able to move.

  • @ukipwebmaster I appreciate you approving my comments by the way instead of censoring dissension. It reflects an interest in dialogue rather than indoctrination.

  • @ukipwebmaster British fertility rate is dropping, can British people really maintain a British population at this rate. Many foreigners use British women(and vice versa) as a UK passport to settle. There must be a reason for Mr Cameron and Mr Brown before him for dealing with this issue in the way they have. What is it?

  • @tedfreeway

It's better to break the culture of "Children enlarge your carbon footprint" and free up resouces for lower taxes for young people. That way the native birth rate will go up and you'll don't need the immigration and you won't have neither the demographic timebomb nor the multiculture nightmare.

  • @jcvjcvjcvjcv There is an argument to be made for populations to go down naturally as well as up.

  • Its is my opinion, that many people are escaping from their countries, not just leaving. Most of them have little education or regard for the existing social structure. It is a general problem, not just Britain's. EU should study its options. In the Total terminal, some of the immigrant agreed that UK Jobs could be kept instead of theirs, some said it would be understandable.. It was a Total option to keep people who will not fight for better conditions and throw the Brits out.

  • You are correct, there is a big problem. But is stronger border control and 5 year freeze on non-EU immigration your idea to halt the problem? I thought you guys would come up with something other than closing your borders with barbed wire and guns. Because papers are not going to work. That has helped the US a lot.

  • Immigration is the scapegoat for bad economic policies. Please... You do know better than that.

  • Where is the morality in having billions taken from us tax payers and given to people who are perfectly capable to look after themselves? We are back of the queue when it comes to housing and miss out on many other benifits.

I think laws need to change such as no benifit entitlements until at least 5 years of work has been done. Thatll encourage people to get NI numbers and become legal cause otherwise its no healthcare, denitstry etc.

Emergency treatment only. See how many apply then!

  • Lol Love seeing a union (typically militantly socialist) protesting the results of socialist immigration policies!

Guess how they deal with protesters in communist countries guys! Geez...

  • Diversity is the most over rated word in politics.

  • That was a brilliant documentary, indeed.

I can't see any way to reverse this situation. The problem I've seen with most immigrants is that they don't integrate, so they form isolated communities areas and all of them are from the same nationality. Eventually the local businesses are overtaken by foreign stores and the few remaining British people tend to leave the area, as they feel they don't belong to that neighbourhood any more.

    That is London.

  • @viaductos

True but the next generation will grow up speaking English and they will integrate better but the immigration has to be stopped.

  • thats why Norway said NO!! x2

  • end this nightmare now destroy the eu before it destroys us

  • here in germany we got the same problem like the people in the uk.

but we can not say anything against it. as a german you will be called a nazi....

  • Such is the authoritarian nature of the EU that once they get a hold of EU wide immigration and asylum they will be allocating immigrants to countries for a set period and as it's Germany, Italy and Austria that have ageing populations and need workers and our so called friends there may well look out, Britain needn't fear as with such a dense population it will be unaffected except that it will pay for the whole debacle.

  • Superb video. this could be one of the issues that UKIP can build a bigger following with.

  • To be honest immigrants aren't the whole problem. The major problem is a welfare problem because native population will not work in many jobs. I knew several UK citizens who simply were better off not working and getting free housing an a check. At least this was true 12 years ago when I was a student in the UK and took on some temp jobs. I am skilled and my net income minus costs was less than my friends who were on the dole.

  • surely an organisation such as UKIP can do more between general elections to lobby or influence government?

  • @Retrogamer71 maybe if the UK had a proportional representation voting system.

  • @Retrogamer71

    True, but ...

Labour, Con, Lib Dem are all best friends with their fellow EU countries reps.
