I had tracfone and it was a bunch of crap. Prepaid phones are not designed for people who really use their cellphones. If I used a tracfone as much as I use my current cellphone, I will have paid hundreds of dollars more to keep buying airtime cards then I do paying a monthly bill. That's just the facts. I send at least 8,000 texts a month, and I use a lot of data.
Dang this is one old commercial. The no age limit is absolutely necessary today, but I guess it was a big deal back then? Was there ever an age limit. I digress, the phone has been great for my nephews. They loved it for x-mas and they call their uncle quite a bit which is awesome.
These phoens really are the best. I didn't want a contract because I was scared I would be stuck paying so much money. I use my phone a lot and pay around 40 dollars a month... That is just unreal for todays prices! The phone is great too. I have no service problems or anything like that.
never mind the age limit, there are just no limits with tracfone prepaid. i choose my own limits with my prepaid cellphone plan with tracfone. no more contract hassles, no more headaches over monthend bills. with tracfone prepaid i am in full controal of my spendings, save a lot of money, especially with the double minutes for life option, and i can make overseas calls at local rates, pay no roaming fees for a great nationwide cover and am in cellphone heaven.happy me
@shrubina Happy you indeed...Tracfone was a good choice...believe me as I've been with them for years! When I first went prepaid Tracfone was considered only for people who had a bad credit history or not much money and now thousand and thousands of Americans join Tracfone every day ....it's the cool money saving thing to do...just shows how right I was...I've saved thousands!
A family plan for $30 a month? ANy age would be great with this. kids whatever!I thought this was a total gimmick, but when I checked it out I was so surprised that you really can save that much with prepaid. TF has been highly recommended to me and I'm glad that I trust my cell phone minutes with them.
hehehe. I reckon there are some age limits to tracfones though. Even though the family plan has helped me save, and somehow use more, it must be said that I wouldn't consider giving my eight year old a phone of his own. That's just a little too young. In fact, I reckon 13 is about the right age.
@Trinkletdisaster Yeah you're probably right about that age tho some disagree. My son is fourteen and he's getting a phone and a Double MInutes for Life card in his stocking, he's going to freak out!
@Trinkletdisaster My son Francis is getting a Tracfone with double minutes this Christmas as my contract cell phone family plan bill with him on it were killing me...at least next year with us all on Tracfone we can start saving money and month end will no longer be a nightmare!
shame about the age limit. and great there are no limits with tracfone. no age limits, no limits at all, pay as you go and get double minutes for life if you want.no limitations for you phone spendings either, i can have a cheap and cheeful easy to use phone for only $10 or i can opt for a more expensive fancy one. all up to me or you. what ever i choose, i pay no roaming fees, have no activation fees, and will lead a hassle free cellphone life with tracfone. thumbs up for tracfone
@coopsy33 Yeah I don't think the age limit plays much of a factor anymore, this is a very old commercial. But I think the ability to completely control your cell phone bill and only buy the minutes that you need is really powerful even in this day and age and really the only way to do that is with Tracfone.
got smart and got tracfone prepaid.i switched from contract to tracfone prepaid, and that was the best decision i have made in a while.i save a lot of money every month,no longer have nightmares when awaiting my month end cellph bill. i have great nationwide cover with no roaming fees, can make overseas calls at local rates,i also get double minutes for life and am a little angry with myself for waiting so long to switch to prepaid.tracfone has no age limit, but different plans for different ages
I got tracfones for my kids, because they can't control their texting and I used to get dealt monster bills at the end of every month and now they get a certain amount of credit a month and thats it. Now their texting addiction only costs me $60 a month. Great for me and great for them to learn a bit of restraint and limiting their texts.
I like that they have a family value plan...it really is phenomenal value for money @ $10 for 1st phone (50mins) and $6 (40mins) for each phone after that. For $30 our whole family is connected and with the current financial situation, that really counts for something.
I really like that Tracfone has no contracts and is very flexible that I am in control of my budget and still get the great service and reliable nationwide coverage.
i love tracfone and it is great for the whole family/ all ages... because it is great for heavy and light users by letting you choose how much you pay
@phonenumber1awesome Yeah that's a good point, even people who use a lot of cell phone minutes can still save a ton of money over the average cell phone contract which is still hovering somewhere around 85 dollars a month. That's ridiculous!
