Paco is the dogs bollocks far superior in heart and spirit than the other 2 who I have admired over the years also. His sound feel emotion ... Al get yourself a decent acoustic guitar and bin that Ovation crap with the plastic curved back that sounds middley and nasty. By the way we know that you and Johnny boy can play as fast as lightning but take a page out of Pacos BEAUTIFUL lyrical relaxed interpretations. The lightning thing can be very boring, tiring and un-impressive. Paco SHINES !!!!

@johnthemis I agree with everything u said except for one thing the ovation part, i have 2 hand made special guitars one for classical and the other for flamenco, but I also have an ovation elctro-acoustic guitar and one electric guitar and I play the four and all of them are ust amazing to play different style of music, ovation sux for flamenco, but not for clean rhythms with amazing clean sound...

What a bad sound the fast picking of mclaughlin and di meola, seem a mute sound is just a visual show but useless the effect is bad (I don't think they know hahah). But 5 stars to paco de lucia the rare specialized guitarist in flamenco fantastic music! If you listen paco make the fast notes audible, the other 2 make only mute picking noise!!! so they think that go further fast is a great challenge for champions! haha but they are only for jerks (just listen the effect) ! hahahhaha

Y toco con pua tambien...y te aseguro que los saltos con pua entre cuerda y cuerda son muy complicados a gran velocidad...esto entre otras cosas claro. Pero es una estupidez decir que una forma es mas complicada que otra..para mi es tan dificil una tecnica como otra...mas en la guitarra que es un instrumento muy cabron
