  • So who relates to this song?

  • What's really bizarre is: Not only does this sound like Del Shannon, but John Fogerty and Del looked alike towards the end of Del's life. Compare the photos when you get a chance! Joe/a fan of both

  • wow, i wouldve never guessed this was ccr!

  • @13madbob This is one of the songs written and sung by Tom Fogerty when he controlled the band. This was recorded about 1965. John took over in 1966 and wrote produced and sang the bands songs. 'Tell Me' is one of these songs and sounds like CCR.

  • Langweilig!!!!

  • Who is the lead vocals?

    John or Tom?

  • Sounds like Del Shannon

  • the version of this song I heard before has a lot more bass-the version here on youtube doesn't sound quite as rich. still a good tune. thanks

  • And some clear Beatles Rips too =)

  • @CentraCross i thought it was leonard cohen 'halleluia'' for a second..

  • Before CCR and probably/maybe Tom singing this song but still good stuff!

  • to-Me , It sounds a lot-like DEL SHANNON's Records from around That Time.

  • Yeah, I can definitely here some Del influences in there.

  • I can assure you my momma knows- and understands why we can't let this go-

  • Okay no CCR-Sound - but I love this song. Good feelin' and fine arrangement

  • This sounds like Tom singing? "And would she die of fright?" LOL

Knowing that this was actually all the components of CCR, just feeling out different stuff, on their way to finding themselves, is exciting. Thanks Pauley!
