The pilot was good but after that the writers lost their creativity and tried to make this show like a Melrose Place meets Dynasty and that did not work at all. And then they killed off Richard which was the biggest mistake.
I love Yasmine Bleeth - one of the best actresses on TV. She was the hottest girl in Baywatch (along with Erika Eleniak). I loved Yasmine in tv show TITANS and movies A Face to Die For, Crowned and Dangerous, The Lake, Goodbye, Casanova, Ultimate Deception, Maximum Surge (Game Over)...
Notice how when she opened the door she reached for the envelope with her right hand but then the next shot she grabs it with her left. The editing game was not up to par on this show. The night time soap had pretty much died out and it showed. Still...I loved this show and was upset when they took it off after such a short amount of time.
Damn this show was fabulous. The dialog between characters was actually smart (ie: "contemporary doesn't have to mean gauche"..."funny how so often it does")...'Desperate Housewives' is nothing compared to 'Titans' which would have been a massive hit had NBC not prematurely canned it.

Yasmine Bleeth was in the middle of a cocaine addiction when she was shooting this show.

I totally agree. NBC and Fox are quicker on the trigger than the LAPD.
