  • a ghetto in chicago, an alleyway in glasgow,

when will we leave the knives at home.

downtown san francisco or the suburbs of london,

what has our beautiful planet become.

  • just watched this film and it inspired me so much, absolutey fantastic film, inspired me to pick up a pen and my guitar:

4 corners of the globe and 2 hemispheres,

we live in a world of war and needless fears,

when will we reach the peace on the horizon,

before another life is taken by the bullet of a gun,

never mind the politics, the army or marines,

when will we get rid of the war on our streets,

    black, asian, hispanic or white,

when will we learn there's nothing more valuable than life.

    ..

  • Most of the people like Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga shit more than this? Damn... the world is fucked up man..

  • A tribute to men acting like men and not how they act now... times have become quite different.

  • Saw this move, this song was just icing on the cake even more than that

  • Like if you have a Gran Torino!

  • This movie was his highest grossing movie of all time. Well deserved.

  • CLINT EASTWOOD COULD KICK MY ASS AND ANYONE ELSE'S

  • Maybe his best movie. He deserved an acting Oscar. Period.

  • @LongshanksSid This song is not old.

  • @WorldWar2Boy I meant it as a figure of speech, like Theirs my good old car or my good old friend, it doesn't mean to be old just a classic in a modern day if you know what I mean.

  • I can't believe the bitch ass Academy didn't even nominate this for Best Original Song in 2008. This is one of best and honest songs I've heard period. The Academy can make me sick sometimes.

  • It's should be a crime for this song to b under 110% liking

  • This song brings tears to my eyes every time I know it's kind of a weird film but in the end it could be the best ever this man was a racist hated everything and then died for the people he hated he had finally found compassion and love in his heart just an outstanding film and song

  • I could listen to Clint Eastwood's part 1000 times in a row.Too bad its short. However I love this song, my favorite movie ending credits

  • @2muchspaz i think it got some kind of award

  • Personally, I think this song is sung better by Clint Eastwood himself.

  • clint eastwood - the world will remember your name

  • This song gives me chills and makes me want to cry as I listen to it turned all the way up in my head phones on my cellphone on youtube slowly drifting to sleep as I picture me riding down this long windy road with the windows down, wind in my hair, and the sun peeking perfectly over the trees as it sets . Yup! The good ole life . Clint Eastwood out did himself once again ! I love a true master piece and real talent . He, among others, reminds me of why Hollywood stands today . Much respect.

  • Clint Eastwood is definitely one of the best things that happened to the film industry.

  • its gonna be a sad day in hollywood when clint eastwood dies...all directors today suck ass besides robert redford

  • 67 dislikes....Beiber get a life:))

  • Legend thy name is Clint Eastwood

  • its clint who gives a fuck he is the man end........

  • Dear Mr Clint,

You have certainly a very unique view of things and you can only be a real good guy to come up with nice stories like this one. I will always love your dirty harry style, no small talk, big gun, well-intentioned, take no prisoners eternal Clint.

This said, the good guy vs. bad guy mythology is a bit overrated isn't it?

But who am I to say anything? Just a viewer who hasn't even approached your greatness ;-)

    Keep on!

  • How was this movie not even nominated for an Oscar!!!!!

  • Why the hell does a Justin Bieber video have more views then one of Clint Eastwood?

One finger of Eastwood is worth more then the entire fag family of Bieber >:(

Fuck all those fags and stupid 8 yo girls who are watching that fags vids 1000 times a day. That generation is lost.

I am just 18 yo, but have seen all Eastwood's movies and have all of them on DVD + available blu-ray's.

Clint Eastwood is the man, THE BEST ACTOR AND DIRECTOR EVER!

    :D

  • clint, you are a damn good acter and movie producer, but dude, you cant sing...

  • @MrYoummy

And you can't spell...ACTOR!....also please start a sentence with a capital letter.

    From the grammar nazi.

  • @spacecowboy7580 oh, I am sorry, that I am not an oversized loser sitting on his computer and searching so fucking hard for grammar or spelling mistakes, because i got a life, good luck with yours sad an phatetic life....

  • @MrYoummy

No need to search far with illiterate morons lie you on here :-)

    What's phatetic?

  • @spacecowboy7580 oh, I am sorry, pathetic. I am sorry if I am miss spelling two words, and I thank you for correcting me, reahehely appreciate that, why havent you gotten a nobelsprice for this?

  • clint eastwood!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Noone compares to you, Clint. Rock on!

  • この曲がいいと思える女の子が少なくて残念・・・これこそかっこいい男の歌なのに

  • OMFG! CLINT EASTWOOD SINGING!? now i have heard everything...HA!

  • @LBYoungGun

He " sang "..in Paint Your Wagon...Talk To The Trees...and he's done in more songs since then.

  • clint eastwood is the greatest!

  • Great tune!never get tired of listlening to it.

  • Forgot to mention below MY PRIDE & JOY. It's 'MY' Grand Torino and 'MY' baby, a 1991 Ford Corsair Ghia in tip-top condition with just only 74000 miles done in 20 years. Anyone trying to steal it would be dead meat.

  • I'm an old army veteran and I'm not ashamed to say the movie and the song always brings tears of pride and regret to my eyes. I play it several times a day first thing in the morning and then, rain or shine I'm able to do my daily march around the park, body firm and head held high.

  • This song, and the Gran Torino slowly disappearing in the distance beside Lake Michigan (I think it is) is the perfect end. It's like a somber homage to the waning magic of America in the 20th century; the old standards growing tired, the future so incredibly uncertain, and the muscle and drive of the country aging not-so-gracefully, but the torch still gently burning, not about to give up its flame. Clint's gravelly voice is oddly just about the ideal one for the song, too.

  • Such a truly touching movie. Looking at faces that don't look like yours and cursing a changing world. But finding that you can love someone different and then giving a selfless gift. The song is perfect for the movie.

  • Clint Eastwood, the ONLY man that can make Chuck Norris cry like a bitch. LIKE IF YOU THINK CLINT EASTWOOD IS AWESOME!!!

  • @0TheVegan0ThatCould0 Who the hell is Chunky Norris? is that a kind of soup or what?

  • @Jacobnearyou LMAO! If it was a soup i wouldn't eat it thats for damn sure

  • @0TheVegan0ThatCould0 My grandpa is really good friends with him. :)

  • @ValiantM16 Really?! I'm jealous. I would kill to know or even be friends with someone that knows Clint Eastwood <333

  • I know this movie was fake cause Clint Eastwood never dies=)'

Besides it was the best movie i've ever seen!

But the ending was really sad.

    Great work!

  • I never thought I'd ever witness a moment where Clint Eastwood would do something that didn't reek of utter coolness. This... Is that moment.

  • I can listen to this 'All night loong...'. Mr Eastwood, u"r a fucking genius !

  • nice way to go ... like in a grand torino ...

  • nice song :)

  • So great. Sad.

ps. i definitely like you voice but don't do another one it's kinda cool to remember only with this one you know?

  • @MrWaleedoo1 My grandpa is good friends with him. :)

  • deep characters, deep story - deeper than rookie actors..... hence the message of the movie,,,,,,

  • great song, thought it was Michael Buble for the longest time

  • Clint's personal growth shows up in "Bridges of Madison"..: BUT he still Delighted us with the Encore of the Dirty Harry Character, in "GRAN TORINO" . What a Mind Blower!!! Everything in place, down to the blood on his hand & body position. "No Greater Love has he, than he who is willing to give his life for his fellow man."". It may not be a cult film, but I sure have Loved seeing it more than one time. OUTSTANDING!!!!!! ,,, His Best Ever.

    SM

  • Good job Mr. Eastwood, good job...

  • This is the best movie and song... I love all of it... If I have the chance to make a movie with Eastwood I would in a heart beat..
