Kids should be tought that integrity, honor and truth are more important than personal gain. They should see adults exemplifing that loyalty, morality and self-responsibility are greater treasures than silver and gold; and that wisdom starts with fear of the Lord. You won't get any of that from "no child left behind." You also aren't going to get a bunch of brainless robots like you get fron publich scool. You'll get confident, smart, and responsible children. This is child abuse. Another "Paulsy Nutcase." What makes it worse - they now have taught their children how to ignore facts and reality. This is why studies have shown that "homeschooled" children are developmentally behind not to mention complete social rejects.
I think perhaps you read the statistics wrong - actual research proves otherwise. Our children probably are more aware of what's going on politically, socially, and educationally than many other children their age. They weren't forced to do this video. They made several others, all on their own, that we chose not to post. Our adult children, homeschooled all the way through their school years, are doing quite well socially. It's too bad you can't meet all of them and see for yourself.
I'd like to know specifically what facts you claim these children and their parents are ignoring. This video shows that these kids know very specific facts about these candidates' voting records and policy-making decisions. It appears to me that the people who either don't know or don't want to know these types of facts are the ones who are ignoring reality.
I can testify that our parents made us recite poetry glorifying Ron paul every morning, we were not allowed to have friends, and we only given one bowl of rice a day. I'm a college student now, but i wish you and your government would storm my house with guns and liberate my poor little siblings from their slavery. maybe after some unbiased re education they'd vote for McCain...Or Hilary? save them.

Our children are not only "allowed" to have differing opinions, they are encouraged to research the issues so that they can question, discuss and come to their own conclusions. Besides, how does a parent disallow a child from having his own opinion? Hm..... I'm guessing you are questioning whether we would allow our children to voice a differing opinion. Yes, we would. It is not our desire to raise mindless children who are skilled at regurgitating our opinios.
ahhh the wonders of proper education. homegrown, well fed, well mannered, respectful, smart, creative, engaging, and most importantly, produces the most driven self starters who are independent thinkers and leaders.
