Ok here guys this is the thing. Max Hall has a bad temper issue and should resolve that problem. but the utes football team most likley pushed him to the limit. They probably said foul and uneccessary things out on the football field. I agree he shouldn't have said anything, he shouldn't have generalized. But I am a member of the BYU marching band and I had people following us as we were marching to the stadium yelling taunts and swearing at us. I was actually a little frightened. And it wasn't just one Utah fan. Oh and Max Hall had his house broken into and had a death threat left on his kitchen table. And people (more than one fan) threw beer bottles (not just dumped beer) at his family.

The is nothing wrong with talking bad about the other time, it gets the team going and that just makes them play with more passion. What Max Hall said was probably on the minds of all the BYU fans and players but the fact that he said it to the media for everyone to hear was the mistake. There is a line for it and Hall crossed it and any sports person would know that.
