It's something about your eyes overcompensating after exposure for long periods of time to a color and then quickly switching over to a white/black back ground . You can do this at home with a highlighter and some white paper. Color a bit of the paper with the highlighter and then stare at if for 30 seconds then quickly look over to the white bit. You'll see the color that is opposite the color you were staring at on the color wheel.

Its called image imprinting if you stare at a picture for a while then elswhere like a white wall, you will see a inverse color image of what you were looking at, He is giving you an inversed color picture, then puts up a black and white picture which enchances the same effect.

The trick is in your eyes.

Your eyes stare at the dot and at the same time they're focusing to take in the colors. They're still imprinted on your eyes when the picture changes, but they negative the colors.

(So thus the original picture is the negative.)

...Or something like that. I prolly didn't use the correct terminology, but whatever.

you can tell its a "mindfuck" lol. If you keep your eyes on the video, the picture will slooooowly fade back into the black and white colors. and plus the colors of the walls at the beginning are what fools your brain so that when the picture changes it seems as if you see real colors. :D

Here is how it works, you know how you stare at the colors when your looking at the dot with out blinking or moveing your eyes away, will your eyes sends the colors to your bran and when you look at it long anuf your eyes will get used to it but when the colors go away in a nano second the colors still reflet in your eyes makeing your brain thinking that the black and white are colors but then it realizes that the colors arnt really there then it turns back to black and white.
