There was a grassy hill near my house when I was a boy. In the summer the sun would dry the grass, it would flatten and we'd ride down it on sheets of cardboard.
In the winter it was covered with snow and we rode our sleds.

your very welcome, im glad i can show my own kids these things too, we dont get snow but in winter when the grass is wet its soooooo fast :) and sooo much fun :)
