Crysis on Windows 7 x64 with GTX285 Black Edition

How'd you get this game to work with W7? When i try the 64 bit exe, it wont do anything except a blackscreen... With the 32 bit version it starts, but my computer starts to make this weird sound, which is definately not good for it. Same thing if i change the 64 bit version to vista sp2 compability mode.

You can record better with HyperCam 2 with DivX as video compressor to it and when you configure it in HyperCam 2 you can choose Speed or Quality, if you want 720p or 1080p, and also 3000 or 6000 in something forgot what :P

Great video, i have almost same specs as u, but why does the texture setting in advanced settings say "costum" instead of "very high" like in yours.

All other settings stay at very high, but this changes to costum..but i dont see the textures change lower or something.. Im running in the 64 bit executable.

When it says "custom" that means that there is a custom CFG file in the Crysis folder... Crysis is very customizable with graphics. Google for "crysis ultimate tweak guide" (should be the first link returned) for info on how to customize Crysis graphics.

better still, google for "C.U.D.A.A.T.S. CCC" (also should be first link returned), and install that. It will optimize your Crysis to run at maxed visuals, at playable framerates.
