Agree with andy.Got persuaded to try a festival for the 1st(& LAST) time - Glade last year.Such great fun-you get to pay stupid amounts just to wander around in shit a foot deep(just on the 1st night), have your tent flooded & ruined & use disgusting toilets.Throw in getting totally lost with respect to anyone you know & where your tent is(was?) - what a fantastic time you have on the horizon.All for music I can hear at home or in a club where I'll have plenty more money left for getting fucked.

The toilets now are nothing compared to say 2000 , I used to have a friend and when you could buy tickets easy and I offered him a free ticket and he turned me down saying he had to shower everyday and didnt like the idea of the toilets .

anyway met him about a month ago and first thing he said was why the hell didnt I listen to you , he had gone to glasto on his own and had a great time .

i love glastonbury, i haven't been since 99 and it was a great atmosphere, not as nice as 98 or 97, but it was really hot and dry, dusty! in 98 me and my friend did some "swimming" in a big puddle of mud and thats the best way to get through a massive crowd cos no one wants to get muddy, i mean, youre at a festival, youre not gonna be clean the whole time hahaha
