Omg that's so pathetic.

There's a Sears near me and I rode the elevator - I pressed the button about 10 times and no matter what I did it wouldn't close by button push; just on it's own!

i dont think thats a schindler control panel because my hospitals main elevators are dover and they have this same control panel

But then again the timer is acutally too long. I think they should shorten the timer for that one and extend the timer for the other one by just a few seconds.

some timers are longer than others the macys elevator at monroville mall is long to but the food court elevator there is too short it doesnt give enough time for some peopel to get in or out the sensers are broke they dont stop when somehting is in the way and door open doesnt work either

they should extend the time like 5 sec for the on at monroville mall I think the door should wait 20 seconds to close unless someone hits close an then it should close imeadetly when someone hits close the macys one at monroville mall used to be 40 seconds even when you hit close it didnt work. BUt the sensors could be broken but again it didnt buzz

I hate when the doors dont close when I it the close button but its either has a schindler controller or the sencers are messesd up

Maybe it does have a Schindler controller, and that's what prevents the elevator from closing when the door close button is pushed.

yeah im ure schindler modernized it the door close doesnt work on the macys elevator either its not a schindelr at all because of I can tell but it may be a westinghouse wich schindler bought and why doent it work on schindlers?

They should but that can't make the timer interval too short. The busier the station, the longer the delay.
