  • no modest

  • what about ladies that would like to cover their backs maybe because of spots

  • The history of cloth made by cotton originates in INDUS VALLEY CIVILIZATION. A 1 second research will open up your eyes to reality! :)

  • @voxliberatis Sorry to say A greek nationalist has no clue on history. Why don't you stop staring at India's dresses & do a little research? The history of cotton might be a good place to start in Google search. You will find if you r literate, that the history of cotton originates in INDUS VALLEY CIVILIZATION while your women prefer walking naked in the streets, INDIA'S HISTORY was rooted in dress & covering up in beautiful cloth.. Try learning HISTORY idiot before you post your bigotry.

  • I like the one at 2:38 mostly, Really pretty :)

  • I love this site....awesome.

  • *exquisite even

    LOL...

  • Wow....there are some extremely exquisitive designs here and excellent craftsmanship.

  • Being a woman and dress designer from Latin America, I notice the refreshing focus on the woman's back instead of her front (bosom). Allows you to appreciate the design more completely.

  • the use of cotton came from India look it up in Google so it makes sense India would have the most beautiful dresses whether beautiful choli lengha outfits sulvars and kurthis :) rome got their togas from our saris, fact we were there til 6th century

  • @india000000000 Your ignorance is astonishing. The roman togas had greek origins: the toga was a new form of the greek himation. Greece influenced a lot other civilizations, including the etruscan one. As for the western art of draping, it was much more complicated than all the indian styles together. Before writing smth you should think first or at least read books. Is there anything more pathetic than indian naitonalists? You don't even know your own history, as we see in your last words.
