  • Does anyone here know if they legally rereleased the original 1989 Apple II version anywhere else? I mean, with the original graphics.

  • And the PS3 version of Sands of Time was so close to being better...But for the original 2 games, I'll stick to my Xbox.

  • it looks terrible, and wheres the friken music.

  • The original Prince of Persia didn't have music, until it was ported to consoles. This is a direct port of the Mac version, with the only changes being different midi instruments, and a password system instead of a save system.

  • DUH DUH DUH DUH DUH DUH DUH DUH DUH.

Gates sound so real. Awesome game.

  • in the original pop for apple II, jordan's brther was the prince, his father composed the music and he was jaffar, and the princess was his mother and jordan progamed the entire game in 4 years

  • i used to play this game with my father and my uncle when i was 6, sweet memories!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @DarkAngel100101 I used to play this game, but den I took an arrow to de knee xD

  • damn, they didn't convert the MIDI instruments to proper instruments :(

  • Unfortunately, no. But this version's still loads better than the PS2 or Gamecube ones. The sound pops and the graphics are blurry on POP1 on those systems. Besides some of the midi instruments being off, it's a perfect port. :)

  • i had a gamecube and same pop and this pop1 wasn't blurry at all ;p

  • i remember playing this when i was 3 xD

  • this version kicked snes ass because it was HARDER!

  • u should play with the new xbox , xbox 360

  • Nice to see this is not a speed run like other videos you showing how to get everything!!!!!!

  • Well, it IS the original, with updated graphics only. This is a port of the Mac version from 1993.

The SNES version is superior though, with 8 more levels, more enemies, more traps, music, and such. But it doesn't mean that the original game isn't good.

  • Yeah, it is the original, but when you put something on the xbox 360, I think it would be better to have the best of the very best like the snes version. It happened the same with double dragon, they got the nes version instead of the good double dragon II and III...the hell were they thinking lol. I hope they really get Banjo Tooie on the arcade some day...because I didn't really like the first banjo Kazooie lol and I hope they get the n64 version of killer instinct...or both lol

  • This is the unlockable POP1 on Sands of Time for the XBox. Prince of Persia Classic's the game that's on XBLA, not this one.

  • One of my fav games of all time. Played this on PC and saved the princess with about 15 minutes left on the clock!

  • atleast in this one prince is not blonde thank god.

  • Maybe he is: he's wearing a turban.

  • I first played this game on Apple IIgs when I was like 5 years old.

  • That run you made to the sword and back was very impressive. Well done!

  • Is it possible to save the game during levels in POP part 1? if so how is it done?

  • Nope, you can't save in mid level in POP1. Except there are two "checkpoints" halfway through the levels 3 and 12. Other than that, it's only the beginning of the level.

  • I wanna complete sands of time now... (for my gamecube)

  • You can do it on the Ps2 version too right?

  • The PS2 version has POP1 (this one), but not POP2.

  • The music kinda sounds different...

  • classic games never die.

  • I first Played Prince of Persia for gameboy when I was in san frinsisco as a Kid.

  • Wow memories, memories...

anyways... wasnt Ctrl L a cheat for level jump :? lol

  • one question where do you get these version? on the first picture i can reed on my version broderbund presents! and by your version the pop team presents and your figure is the same as pop2 i have a other figure!sorry for my bad english i´m german

  • It's an unlockable on the XBox version of Prince of Persia: Sands of Time. Same thing with my Prince of Persia 2 videos. Much less of a hassle to play than an old PC game.

Now, if only there was a perfect port of Prince of Persia 3D. The Dreamcast version's decent, but it's missing some controls and sound. :|

  • Yup. It's an extra for Prince of Persia; Sands of Time. It's a port of the Macintosh version.

  • Nowhere.

  • Oh my god,the intro music gave me the chills... This game fucking OWNS! I had this for DOS.

  • They made him look like he does in PoP2! That's not what he's supposed to look like in the first "Prince of Persia" game! He's not supposed to have a sword from the very start! "DDDDAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!" Good to see PoP classics on YouTube, though.

  • That's a port of the Mac version.
