And we did have an army, my grandfather was a riflemen in the Latvian army.

FYI Russia had air superiority in 1943 so the P51 wasn't a gamechanger, and long range bomber programs existed in Germany and Russia but were not expedited because there was nothing long range to bomb -- yet. That map in the middle of the video is wrong. Finland was never conquered by the Soviets. In 1939 they tried to invade but failed, taking huge amounts of casualties. Neither did they manage to invade later on...just because they sucked. And so does this map you're showing here. Total FAIL!

An Army which broke the back of the most efficient military force of its time at Stalingrad and then chased it all the way back to Berlin and Totally defeated it , would have had little difficulty in disposing of any force that Finland could have fielded against it. Fact is they didnt need to invade Finland in 1944.

In January of 1920 the Latvians were able to drive the Red Army out of the southeastern region of Latvia (Latgale). Lenin then accepted the independence of the Baltic States and treaties formalizing this acceptance were then signed. In November of 1923 Latvia and Estonia entered into a mutual defense treaty. And we did have an army, my grandfather was a riflemen in the Latvian army.

If you look at the early revolutionaries they were polish jews with Jewish Labour Bund ties. Felix Dzerzhinsky founded the Cheka which became the NKVD. You look at Gulag leaders, 85% are polish jews. FYI Russia had air superiority in 1943 so the P51 wasn't a gamechanger, and long range bomber programs existed in Germany and Russia but were not expedited because there was nothing long range to bomb -- yet. Russia's deal with germany wasn't an alliance, it was a non-aggression pact. And Germany+US financed communism so it was the Germans who had everything coming to them.

@wb6162 Honestly I give full credit to the "allies", basically USSR, USA, and UK. Thanks to the USSR you did not fight a war on your soil, 85% of wehrmacht causalities were inflicted by the USSR. UK's Royal Air Force kept the Luftwaffe's heat off Russia until Russia had full air superiority in 1943. The U.S. provided money, food, clothing, trucks, etc. UK actually provided a good amount of food and supplies as well. US had no choice, hitler wanted WORLD domination, plus JP already declared war.

That map in the middle of the video is wrong. Finland was never conquered by the Soviets. In 1939 they tried to invade but failed, taking huge amounts of casualties. Neither did they manage to invade later on...just because they sucked. And so does this map you're showing here. Total FAIL!

Mannergame line was broken through and futher occupation of Finland was a matter of time. But Stalin did not need it. Finland was a PART of Russia since 1809 till 1917. In 1944 finns begged Stalin not to invade and betrayed Hitler to survive.

Finns fought, and by the time Stalin made peace, the Finns had build more fortifications behind the initial line. Hitler saw the weakness of the Soviet Army and thought he could easily defeat it, and so attacked his former ally.

Of course Hitler could have given them time to modernize, as they were his ally, with a well defined border, and other easier targets than Germany if they were in the way of expanding.

With unlimited resources at their disposal and all of the captured factories Germany with the Help of the Japs would have taken America within a few years. Quite frankly I wasn't talking about WWII I was talking about WWI. However, even in WWII if i wasn't for Marshals Konev and Zhukov, the Soviet Union would have been finished. Don't argue that Stalin won the war because all he did was order men to their imminent death. If anyone was to blame for the majority of the deaths of the Soviet soldiers of WWII it was Stalin. If anyone was to blame for the deaths of so many Russian soldiers during WWI, it would have been the entire Russian command.
